I love the cinematography of your videos, its not that easy to put a video together with music and interesting content. Thanks for sharing your passion
You’re living the life! Thanks for all your hard work in the shop, behind the camera, at the editing desk as well being the husband and dad your family needs! - The WizDad.
I seriously just bought a pair of wayfarers and was admiring the case design and wondered if I could make one myself. How fortuitous that this video pops up a week later! You got me. In for one pattern!
haha right on! Good luck with the project;) Let me know if you have any questions about it
As someone that’s new to working with leather, I’m glad to see some projects that are good for beginners. Thanks for that. I also like seeing that your family gets involved... it was my daughter that got me into it. Keep up the great work!
Ray-Ban used to make sunglass cases with a belt loop, but that was back in the 80s.
Absolutely very good work
I really appreciate your detailed walk-through videos, plus how you list all of the supplies and tools used in the description. It really helps a budding leather worker like myself. Keep up the awesome work!
Nice simple looking pattern. Love it!
Another fantastic video as always. I love how positive you are and how you love to share your leather working knowledge.
I enjoy watching . I find myself wanting to see what you have coming up next . Always interesting. Thank you for sharing
Digging this new style of video fella. Always appreciate the forthcoming honesty and information. Total mensch.
Glad to hear that Whit is taking a huge role in this more and more! You know us, Parker. Sorry but have to say #TeamWhit all the way.
Great videos!! Thanks Parker!
i love the headbanging buffalo
Another great project video! I like that new burnishing method! I’ve been looking for a way to give the edges on my projects a cleaner look and I might give that a try! Looking forward to the next project video Parker! Thanks for all the inspiration!
I like your style, clean and straightforward and your video always inspirational
Wow really nice looking Leather case!!! :D
This is a project I've been thinking of doing for myself but really had no idea where to begin. Now I have a pretty good idea of how to lay out the pattern, thank you.
I watched a couple of other vids on glasses case and they were very complex. I was thinking that it should be easier than that. Then I hit this and I was like, "YES!! I knew it had to be easier." So thanks this was perfect.
Great idea. Just bought my first starter kit from Tandy’s and some leather. All because of you. Thank you! Can’t wait to get started.
I just realize that your channel has very good content and very informative..most of the other channel just skip on some of the details part..keep up a good work!..definitely a subs and likes..cheers
Sweet sunglasses case! I haven't ordered any patterns before, but believe I'll get this one. I really appreciate your creative process, and thank you for quickly going through it. I have the Adobe suite, but haven't used it for leather before. I will now. ;-)
Keep up the good work!
this is so fun to watch!!! going to buy some tools and try this myself!! my brother needs a sunglass case.. soo why not :D
Thanks for a great video. It was exciting! Best wishes and keep up the good work!
Stock & Barrel Co how fast does your items get to the UK I want a number 68 western wallet but don’t fancy waiting months for delivery
I love your projects and you make them look so easy. Your products display such amazing craftsmanship.
Hal! You are our Happy Mail winner! email me your address and I will get some stuff sent out to you!
Great Project. Got an idea for a double carrier for 2 pair of glasses. I've seen on, but didn't have much luck duplicating it. I gotta learn to make templates.
I'd love to see these for sale... love this! I'd like to see the backpack for sale too... beautiful!
I was working on said backpack and had your video playing in the background. What an awsome surprise hearing you trying to pronounce my last name :'D . I just finished my backpack and love it. Thanks for these high quality videos, I really enjoy watching your work process.
Truly beautiful.Tyou for sharing.aho.
Really cool. I would love a case like this for my wayfarers.
Thankyou bro
Oh my god thanks for mentioning my comment! Greetings from Puebla, Mexico👋🏻
Great project. Who made your custom button snaps and what size did you use?
love your vidio❤
Love your new voiceovers in the video! Really adds a touch of finish and lets us follow your thought process :)
Thanks for the inspiration. I'm not full blown enthused about leather work, but when I butcher steers and the hides are worthless I'm looking at leather work to help offset that. Your channel is one I've been looking at for inspiration
Thats great Kevin, sounds like a good way to make some lemonade out of lemons
Nice work dude. It took me a while too to get it right. By the way where can I get that edge coloring pen you used there?
Отлично!
I'm not sure how the premiere is supposed to work, but I enjoyed watching the video just now :). It's definitely a shorter one, but not less enjoyable to watch! I really love the edges on this project, they look so super neat! I agree that a custom button looks good on a project and I love the simplicity of yours. I can't wait until I'm ready to have my custom buttons made, but first I need a lot more practice, a name, and a logo! I've always been curious about how you came up with your name and logo? Keep on making the videos!!
Your projects are amazing, thanks for sharing.
I have a query I hope you can help me, I see that you use a marker to paint the edges of the leather I would like to know what type of paint you use (brand or name). And if that painting is placed directly on the acrylic marker to place the edge of the leather easily?
Nice job on the Sunglass Case as usual. Why didn't y'all put some felt in side the case. Will the leather possibly scratch the lenses ?
Can you get the refillable dye applicator from tandy?
Nvm, found it in your links.
I love all that you do, want to support you but any leather I want at DLS is sold out - yikes, frustrating
I love your case design, it has a great shape to it! The only thing that worries me a little is the lack of backing or lining to prevent the button from scratching up the glasses inside
This button is in the middle where the nose indent is on the glasses, so it's not even close to touching the frames, even if they move around a little bit.
I will not be duped into commenting at the promise of mere swag.
however I did like and will purchase the pattern.
Sorry I missed the live premiere, but another great video and a nice little project. Keep them coming.
can I get pattern please .?
Peace
I want a price list to fill the leather with you
Doesn’t the snap scratch the glasses lense?
The nose gap misses the snap by quite a lot. But you knew that....right?😀
leather workers, using CAD (cardboard aided design) since 1800
You know it figures you would know how to use Illustrator. Ugh, I tried using it and got very irritated especially when I know how to use Inkscape. I figured it would be just as easy but heck no. I need to find a good instruction program that teaches it.
What's the point in presenting a "premiere" when it's over before anyone can get to it?
Good videos but for beginners it’s not the best content. The amount of machines and expensive gear this guy uses isn’t accessible to a lot of people unfortunately
Everything that I do with the machines in my videos can be done by hand. It takes a lot longer but it's do-able and i did it for years. When I decided to start investing in machines i found it really hard to find videos showing how to sew leather on an industrial machine and other things like that. So my videos should hopefully be helpful to people who are "beginners" in learning how to use some of this equipment. There are plenty of videos out there that can teach you how to hand stitch if that's what you're looking for.
love your vidio❤
Thanks for jumping in the live premiere! What's the next project you want to see?
A fixed blade knife sheath
In all honesty I would love to see a leather pouch I can hold my darts in.
and edc pocket organizer... holds knife pen and a flashlight... like the ones from hitch and timber with a s&b flare.
I want to see how leather coat or a perfecto are made please
Awesome as always. More backpack design
