Albert was born in Habbaniya, Iraq. He left Iraq in 1990 and settled in Australia with his family. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from University of Mosul and obtained his Master's degree in Structural Engineering from the University of New South Wales. He started working for the Australian government in the water resources department and established his own engineering and construction company; AGM Construction. Albert currently resides in Sydney, Australia with his wife and two sons.
