TRYING Oil Pastels to give a VINTAGE effect while EMBELISHING the COVER of my VISUAL DIARY

When it comes to JUNK JOURNALS we ALL Love vintage effects, in fact everything that is distressed or look old it is seldom incorporated into our journals and diaries, cards, labels and tags. In this episode I used oil pastels to give the vintage touch to the elements I used in the cover of a sketch book that is probably going to be my Visual Diary.
I explain how to make it step by step and I use a beautiful leafy imagen that looks like a fairy, a frame and little details like a butterfly, a key and a sentiment from my bag of tea. I also use oil Pastels because they come in 12 colors, they are easy and fun to use in a lot of ways with a lot of possible results.
When I search in magazines I look for images with different shapes in order to have more possibilities to make collages on top of almost anything.
Crafting and making ephemera is amazing and the results are more and more incredible every time.
Start practicing and you are going to be surprised with the results!
