I have a bit of a suggestion. Why not do full taste tests of your sponsored box subscriptions as a video or two when they come in. You pay for all of your taste test videos by ordering food from restaurants but these sponsor boxes gives you an opportunity to make 1 or 2 vids a month taste testing foreign treats. It will cut down on the expense of making content. This is just coming from the frugal side of me...I try to see where to cut cost where ever i can.
@@kaylaglass7847 you can't stand him??? Girl, how is that even possible? I generally hate all people BUT I absolutely love Timmy. I wish I could hang around him IRL. ❤️
My edmame technique is that I work on one bean at a time. I gently bite down behind the bean which should pop open the side of the shell that far. I suck the bean out then and go for the next bean. All at once would be very challenging and probably get a teeth full of shell. Give it a go and let us know how well it works for you.
I love how Timmy kinda plays dumb but actually never says anything stupid and actually knows stuff about food and is consistently insightful about flavours and textures and shit. ❤❤
Video idea/request?: Tasting influencer food products? Like Mikey Chen's (StrictlyDumpling's) chili oil, Keith's Sauces (Chicken, Taco, and Burger sauces), maybe even the Hot One's sauce(s)? It's not fast food, but it would be an interesting video to see if the products are worth the hype! :D (If anything, it's similar to the old elimination videos where you tried things like different ranches and stuff)
The tempura vegetables should have come with a dipping sauce that adds the salt flavor they were lacking. Not the spicy mayo. It’s called Tentsuyu and looks a bit like soy sauce.
There were a few sauces included in a plastic bag. I want to say that the tentsuyu was in the bag and it was definitely included with the shrimp but he didn't use it. He wasn't sure what was what. It also looks like he may have been using yum yum sauce instead of spicy mayo.
Hi Timmy I'm your Japanese fan! Just wanna mention, tempura butter is a mare mixture of flour, eggs and water so it doesn't have any taste on itself. Specific soy source based dipping or flavor salt make tempura yum. Want you to try with it next time! So far I'm happy to see you enjoyed Japanese snacks and food! Love your videos and thumbnail moments as well😍 Arigato!🙏❤️
Don’t bite and pull so hard ya kinda hold in middle and squeeze and pop in your mouth. The Tempura usually dips in a soy sauce If you’ve eaten certain maybe google others eating them so you get the right experience of what goes with what and how to eat it 💕
Timmy! Happy belated birthday, amor! Wishing you all of the best during this next trip around the sun! You know how much I love your content. Thanks for making me smile and laugh and prolapse. Lmao. Love you!
I used to live across the street from Benihana about 10 years ago. Those Buddha drinks I think they were Mai tais or some thing. The vegetable sushi and the spicy edamame are exactly what I eat there. They’re yummy. I do it with soy sauce wasabi and ginger.
Went last night I highly recommend the shrimp rolls (sushi) fucking amazing. And I’m not a big sushi person. Sorry, it’s called the Shrimp Lovers Roll.
Hi Timmy! With edamame, don’t bite through the skin…just kind of hold it with your teeth and push the beans up with your finger one at a time so they pop through the skin and into your mouth- or pop them in through your teeth one at a time- And you should have gotten some ponzu sauce (looks like soy sauce) with the tempura to dip it in
New subscriber here. So I have a funny thing to share, I found Timmy bald (which I prefer😊) and when I started watching this I’m like “who’s this copying my Timmy Takeout”. Yall 😂😂🤣🤣🤣I had no idea this is my Timmy 😂😂😂
All of us Benihana fans watching this video couldn’t wait for the moment you tried their fried rice, lol! 😍 Soo good right?? 🤤 It’s is my absolute favorite fried rice out there! I make my own copycat recipe at home for my daughters and they absolutely love it! They say it tastes just like the restaurant, and it is pretty damn good, if I say so myself, lol.. 😜
Next time you should try the hibachi it is amazing any meat you want doesn't matter all the hibachi is delicious you get meat, rice, veggies and soup and salad and it is all delicious. Let me know what you think if you ever try it.
I notice your always in the kitchen do you cook? Never ate that food before the dumplings and spring rolls are my pick have eaten at other places before.loved the look of that chocolate cake date nite. Cake 🥰❤️🥰 I like Chinese food Best.🥰❤️ Enjoyed your Mukbang 🥰❤️Thank you Timmy.🥰🌈🦋🌈
So glad you like sushi now! Thanks for doing this video. I always hear about this place but we don’t have one here in NC that I know of so I’ve always been curious about how the food tasted and what food options they had. I love shrimp fried rice and Id totally get mine there everytime if I could 💕 You’re one of my favorite UA-camrs 💕
You need to go and experience Teppanyaki at the restaurant. Fun and delicious. The Tempura should be dipped into Tentsuyu (Tempura dipping sauce) which is where you will get the salt and additional flavors.
omg I went there once a few years back I remember the food was good and they put on a show while they made it I love when Timmy makes the reviews long its like a movie 👏🏾
Everything just looks & sounds good. If I ever am around a Benihana, I will try it out. I would like to see you use your kitchen ware you've received from the Sakuraco box. In your next asian taste test.
The vegetable tempura comes with a sauce you’re supposed to dip it in that gives it that extra flavor you’re looking for hon. Also, at the restaurant, they give you two different sauces for your dinner.. one sauce is for the vegetables (like the zucchini, squash, and onion mix which is served nice and hot btw) and one sauce for the meat and seafood.. both sauces are great and really help bring out flavors where some flavor is needed.
Sometimes I come onto your acc because I'm looking for something to watch... then get depressed because I've already watched everything! So I always love it when you upload new things... especially long ones like this! :)
Ohhh Im eyeing all this food :D I wish I could try it haha! Sadly minus the cheesecake and chocolate cake, Im not into them haha >_>. I dont like chocolate cake and Im very picky about kinds of cheesecake I like.
Actually tried sushi for the first time but I learned that I don't like crab. At All. But there were these spicy shrimp and "philly" rolls that I LOVED. Just. Don't like crab and heavily scared to try the raw fish ones but maybe one day!!
You would love my cheesecake. Have used the same recipe for 20 years. This cheesecake is served in lieu of a Birthday cake. It is NY style, smooth and not very dense. The topping is always fresh berries. I do play around with the crusts. Graham crackers, oreos without the filling, shortbread cookies or biscoff. Sometimes I use nuts such as almonds or pecans.
Ooh yum, Benihana! 🤤 With the edamame, what I do is just use my teeth to pop the pod open in my mouth and suck out the soybeans. That way you can get all the flavor and salt on the outside of the pod mixed with the inner beans, and it's not such a fight trying to get 'em out 💜 lysm Ps... tempura batter lacks salt bcuz it's supposed to be dipped in a lightly sweetened soy sauce & mirin dipping sauce which is quite salty from the soy sauce. (it might've been what was in with the spring rolls) It's sooo good! One of my faves

I'm surprised they didn't give you a tempura sauce - that aspect of it generally REALLY carries the dish
Yes! It's full of soy sauce which is quite salty so they don't put salt in the tempura batter or it would be overly salty

I salt my food if it doesn’t come salty enough. Everyone likes it differently so sometimes they don’t add a lot of salt.
