Ortom speaks truth to the federal government, it looks nice and he is hailed. Kudos to the speaking governor. But has he spoken truth to himself? Those of us in Benue state have not seen any development in his 6 years in power. He perpetually owes salaries, deos not pay, comes up with all kinds of tax on the salaries of civil servants.
What is the welfare of the people of his state?
What has he done at his own level to address the insecurity challenges?
Yes he is speaking, but he is not different from the people he challenges. It's a typical case of kettle calling the pot black.
The real challenges of our nation begins at the local level with our local leaders, governors, senate and house of reps, councilors, state house of reps, etc. And religious and traditional leaders.
Do not be deceived by the talking governor. Ask those from benue state or go on ground and see what is happening.

The crime of Benue is that they have Igbo people, most look Igbo, and they have come to realize who their true friends are. Is this not the same Benue that Nnia Nwodo was telling us he does not want and will fight against Biafra to keep his friends in Benue that he often goes to drink beer with?
