Sun players and other opposing teams' players, officials/refs, and even WNBA leadership, took it even further by creating an environment on the court that allowed/condoned/encouraged Caitlin Clark to be assaulted under the guise of a "physical" league/environment unlike which no other player has been subjected to. When data was provided as evidence in the form of the number of flagrant fouls levied against Clark in comparison to all other league players, the word simply was put out to no longer call on court assaults of Clark as any kind of foul whatsoever, so as to simply not provide additional statistical proof of the assaults aimed at Clark. Thru inaction, the WNBA simply sent out a strong message letting the rest of the league know that there would be no consequences whatsoever for either assaulting Clark, or attempting to assault Clark, on the court, under the illusion of competitive sport. You are such a voice of reason. I love your channel. To Alyssa Thomas, the fans are not here for you. We never even heard of you before. We're here for Indiana Fever. To Caitlyn and her Indiana Fever crew, you guys rocked! Kelsey Mitchel almost brought me to tears. You could hear the sincerity in her voice. They are all so grateful for the exposure, the support and the energy the fans brought to them. They've stolen my heart! But yea, a lot has been exposed and this is why we never heard of the WNBA before...it's all about them. They don't appreciate the fans, the exposure CC brought to them, and the money generated from CC's presence there. If CC left the WNBA and started their own league, you best believe, we will follow. Thank you, Adrienne. Luv your channel.
Same here. I didn't know anything about the WNBA. To paraphrase that Bill Burr comedy skit, I couldn't name even my own city's WNBA team or even one player. Caitlin Clark got me watching. Now I watch for her and for the Fever and I'm learning about other players too. Unfortunately, I'm also learning that some of them are thugs who would rather play in obscurity than have someone be popular if that person doesn't fit into their clique- and it definitely seems that the WNBA administration either agrees with those players or the players have so much power they fear them. Btw, I met Caitlin Clark, not at a game but in the store I work in. Just a normal clerk/ guest conversation, not about basketball. Totally down to Earth, polite and not a prima donna in any way.
Question......if Indiana Fever fans are racist why does the fans cheer when Boston or Mitchell score ? Seems somebody is lying.....Fever stay strong....
Adrienne, you are so right!!! Omg. These girls are Indiana are so respectful and professional. Thank you for speaking out on this. Just spot on. We won’t be watching until Caitlin plays again next season.
Funny. Why are they blaming CC's fan base? WHO was abused/harrassed/harmed/beat up the most? Caitlin Clark!!! These LNBA are always playing the victims. Smh. Death Threats? Geez. They absolutely positively cannot deal with CC's popularity, so they're going at her from all angles: herself, her fans, anything associated with her. The green monster of jealousy is Godzilla-sized. That is the point - any so called abuse that Thomas or any other player may have received from internet trolls they are claiming are Caitlin fans (FALSE) and should be ignoring does not come close to the abuse that Caitlin has received not only from internet trolls (which she rightfully ignores) but the media, players, coaches on and off the court. No complaints from Caitlin - just gratefulness for the opportunity to play in this league and to play and grow with her teammates. The entire Fever team has been a class act and represented the WNBA as leaders with the media and on the court. Look forward to an absolute beast of a team next year as the new President looks to revamp and up their coaching staff and talent to build around their leader Clark and their other stars Boston and Mitchell.

Many times I heard the game announcers say that there was so much noise from the crowds in the various arena … any place that the Fever played … that they couldn’t hear the officials’ whistles on the court. That’s the best evidence of the support that us Fever fans bring to our team.
Once again you are spot on Adrienne! CC was sent to the WNBA to shine light on a very dark place. As a new fan of women’s basketball my eyes have been opened to a lot this last season. Thank you for all you do Adrienne!
The Fever team is loaded with class and professional players. Always proud of them. Thanks for sharing Adrienne. Your posts are always spot on and informative.
The WNBA has rules against wearing any kind of jewelry during a game. I figured I knew why but decided to look it up anyway. *"The reason behind this rule is that the jewelry can cause injury to both the player wearing it and other players."* I find it odd that they address jewelry, but don't care one way or another about claws.
being 70 years old I am now starting to wonder if the internet is a net positive or negative I'm starting to choose the later, how do you know if the racial comments are true Fever fans and besides EVERY team has some bozos in their fanbase
I'm new to watching the WNBA. I started watching because of all the CC videos bombing my feed. The more I watched the Fever the more I dug their team. Everyone on the team is awesome! The nice thing about B-ball is that players of all colors and backgrounds represent it.
Ms.Adrienne I love the fever! I love AB, CC, KM, EW, Temi, Dantas! I want to say I can’t stand the WNBA as a social justice because it is not! Not for CC, not for equal calls by Referees, Not for lies by other WNBA players or coaches!!
Adrienne I really appreciate your bravery calling out the hypocrisy of the WNBA management and league players who want the attention Caitlin brings but not a normal culture of fans. Their activist agenda doesn’t work for a wider fan base of people who don’t share their views. But guess what we ONLY want to watch excellence not identity politics. Ironically, the only adult in the room is Caitlin Clark who never disparages anyone! She only wants to be the best she can be. And we only want her to play in a fair environment. So far that hasn’t been the case. Time for some real soul searching in the WNBA if they want to grow. Their dysfunction is now on full display.
Caitlin arrived in a league with the #1 priority being activism with no concern with clean basketball. CC is graceful, humble, not concerned with stats/records, loves her TEAM and ONLY loves her basketball! ☝🏽🙏🏽That’s a problem….🤔🤔🤔
A big thank you to the Indiana Fever and Caitlin for making this season great. I hope to see everyone next season. The rest of the playoffs I have no interest in seeing.
You speak the truth. I'm disgusted by that video statement. How this grown ass "professional" player can claim that I and all of the Caitlin Clark fans are racists. She doesn't know anything about me or mine. The WNBA is trash to let these players make statements like that. Obviously, the WNBA does not hold up their own statement about not tolerating hate speech. Alyssa Thomas just called all of the millions of Caitlin Clark (revenue generating) fans RACISTS! There should be a fine levied or something. What is their hidden agenda?? #WNBA #CaitlinClarkHaters
Love Kelsey Mitchell!! Watch her facial expressions in the video. She really meant what she said about the Indiana fans and looked almost ready to cry about the season being done. Kelsey, class act and great player.👍
yes. kelsey is a peach and a terrific team mate. A shame she was not on top of her game like she was in the weeks approaching the playoffs. She went cold the last couple games before the playoffs. I do NOT blame the pressure of the playoffs as she has proven to be a clutch player and is a key player for the Fevers future.
Thank you, Adrienne! That was an inspiring video by the Fever players. Our enthusiasm in them was well placed. After their terrible start, they remained loyal to each other and the fans. Their subsequent success inspired awe. I have no daughters of my own, but have two nieces who I’m equally proud of. As long as they can maintain their cohesion, and positivity, they will have a bright future. We lost the last game of my senior year in high school, 28-0, a total blowout. Yet we celebrated, because we had already clinched our conference championship, for the fourth consecutive year r. Th3 Fever have already won the hearts of their fans. Attendance for subsequent games will fall precipitously. Too bad d…
4:28 - you know what needs to be done? The referees need to actually call ALL of the fouls, so that the people on social media don’t feel so angry about all of Flagrant Fouls being committed in the WNBA. 🏀🏀
The last time I watched the WNBA was when Lisa Leslie was playing. Then my granddaughter told me about Caitlyn Clark so I tuned in to her last few college games and I was WOWED! I continued to follow her closely since then and she exemplifies such poise, class, intelligence and as my granddaughter says, “boy can she ball!” Unfortunately I’ll have to wait until April to watch her again( if she returns to this league) as I’ve witnessed the WNBA for what they represent and I am more that very disappointed in the League and how it is run from the top, down to the referees. And Adrienne you did an excellent job in covering it all! Aloha till next year!
This is my first season of watching WNBA and I am here because of Caitlin Clark. I appreciate good players and I like most of the girls on the team. What I have been introduced to, and it makes me sick, is thuggery, biases, cheating, and the WNBA’s agenda that tries to link racism to following CC’s career. Stop it! You wanted the views. You wanted the fame. You wanted the money. You got it…. Yet you fail to respect the person that handed it to you on a platter. I will not be watching any other team but Fever, because most of them seem to be full of nasty players. I was disgusted by the players in the Sun and the seemingly toxic environment on their bench but it seems like the WNBA is full of these women who are acting like a bunch of jealous entitled teenage girls.
Solid. It's actually hard to watch any other games besides the Fever, the play is so controlled and predictable. Even after watching a few with the Fever I started calling out player's layup misses as they were shooting. Give credit to the admin/coaching for running a totally "managed" product up to this point, but now the world beyond 50k red carpet fans is interested they have to change. CC's handlers will not endure another season of abuse like this, they will call for alternatives.
You are so right! The Fever just keep earning my respect. They have every right to be reflecting on their personal feelings & they were worried about us. I've been feeling numb since they were eliminated & they just breathed life into me. I'm do proud of all their accomplishments this season. ❤Go Fever🏀💥
In her 11 year career, she’s never experienced sold out arenas and record viewership. The fact that it’s happened this year is obviously because of the energy the rookie class of the 2024 brought and the character of the veteran that embraced them. The haters refuse to accept what’s in front of them and that’s just sad.
So A. Thomas who plays dirty and hurts other league team players!! Is this social justice??? I know what is morally right! I do not say anything that I do not witness from my own eyes! Do people who love God and want everybody to be good players and play professional basketball so no players get hurt no matter what player it is in the WNBA a bad terrible troll??? I have asked for forgiveness from God and I will try my best to watch my language but I will not abandon CC or the Fever! 🙏❤️🏀🏀🏀

It can also take up to a decade to recover from the indoctrination of today's colleges.
I did as well after they did not have the last Fever game of the regular season streaming. Had the refs not been so biased in the Fever’s games I would have watched the playoffs. I’m out after the cobra 🐍 eye poke was not addressed by the league. The cherry on the pile of poop was the commissioner’s statement to the fans. @@marinascott-mw9ut I think at the team level someone needs to be tapped into the business end of the league, and help the team understand the big picture. The players are being left to think and react their way through social media racism, anti-LGBT trolls that are intermingled with real fans. They need coaches that help them understand how to interpret and handle all media, public relations etc., and to realize what kind of asset and big picture value CC is to the league (and therefore themselves). Without the social media and PR intelligence, they are going to constantly set off negative bombs and implode. Maybe help these players understand what success looks like in a few years also. They need to get control of their feelings triggered by troll fans, and get on the same page… otherwise ignorance and stupidity will ultimately lead to failure. CC ain’t doing this, and they need to leave her alone! Next … get some real referees that will call the game fair and consistent. They should also have media and public relations, big picture oversight and training. Get the bush league level of physicality and intimidation out of the game, backed by suspensions. If the referees cannot officiate the leagues position on this, get rid of them.
I'm a 47 year old from Norway and I love watching basketball and since CC arrived it opened my eyes to the WNBA for the first time. She brings excitement and passion to the game and her professionalism makes her a good role model for young girls everywhere to pick up a basketball and learning the game. Also watching Aliyah Boston develop her game and Kelsey Mitchell arriving to give the Fever a boost into the playoffs has been fun to watch. The Indiana Fever have every right to feel proud of themselves and their season. The WNBA has talent and a host of exciting players like A'ja Wilson and Sabrina Ionescu to name just a few but as a newcomer watching the league for the first time, it does little to endear itself when it can't even celebrate success, sportmanship and the love of basketball without resorting to labeling people as racist just for rooting for a specific team or player. What kind of values are that supposed to be? It's no wonder this league has failed to reach the same popularity and marketability as the NBA despite some claims that it has always been a good product even before the arrival of Caitlin Clark.
No matter how much they Fight they can't Change the Inevitable CC and the Fans aren't going Anywhere so y'all have two choices CHANGE or GET LEFT BEHIND 😳🤯🤫😎
Ok, I gotta be 100% honest here. The Adrienne Ross Show is arguably the most honest, unbiased and unhinged podcast/ stream on UA-cam. Just wanted to say thank you, I can always count on an honest assessment from this show.
@@Fyahking619 I tend to agree with that but I don't think Marina would stoop that low. Someone said the Sun had just made a three and if you look at the video Marina was pointing with 3 fingers. Maybrey left Chicago to get away from crap like that. Can't wait for CC and the fever next year.
She's NOT mocking CC. Dont be one of the gullible fans. What Mabrey did is a Carmelo Anthony signature 3 point celebration (3 fingers pointing to the head). She made a 3 point shot and Marina was doing that 3 point finger gesture to her teammate.
@@Fenrir-Afri yes, I think you are correct about that. It also accounts for her smiling as she is celebrating a cool 3. Ms. Ross, you have been amazing at covering the Fever hate, bullying, and treatment this season of C. C. It's been so embarrassing on how certain players, referees, and the league have acted. I am so glad that you tell it like it is. C.C. has rose above all of this. I know her parents and anyone close to her must be so proud of this young lady. The WNBA really blew it this year. You would think they would have treated her better. I am done with the WNBA until next season. God bless and thank you for your honest opinions. Hopefully, next year will be better.❤
One last comment. When Caitlin was a little girl, she dreamed of playing in the WNBA. I bet she never, in her wildest dreams, would have thought that there would be so much bullying, physical attacks and racism in the league. So very sad indeed. Changes need to be made in the WNBA. All these little girls that dream of playing in the WNBA someday should feel safe to do so.
There will need to be another league for that to happen sadly. White people are now demonized in our own country. I feel a deep sadness for our innocent White children.
I’m at dinner but SO thankful that you’re covering this! Alyssa Thomas can have her feelings BUT to ONLY say the Fever fans are the reason for hate, racism, etc is BS! She sounded like a 🤡 to me! Ok I’ll listen after our meal ❤️
Funny how so many players in the W put hate on to CC and she didn't even make a comment about it. She was beaten down by both players/refs but continue to play on. Suns should be happy the won the series with a special whistle. I feels like everytime a team plays the Fever they get ref advantage.
@DK5TY Yes, that’s right. Especially the upper-tier teams get that special whistle. They did not even try to hide it in the Aces and Sun games. Horrible league.
They are a young, enthusiastic, high energy team, exciting to view: however they are very short on experience, and the ability to deal with the physical nature of the WNBA. They took a big step this year, but the next two years will be critical: need stronger bench, and players to complement their core assets: This will be very difficult to accomplish in view of the current powerhouses: Sun. Liberty, Aces, Lynx, Storm.
💯Can you imagine if the Olympic team had just been the Fever?! Worldwide viewership would have been astronomical, even if they didn't win gold. And the US game would be adored again everywhere. The international community knew about the WNBA issues long before we did.
The Fever front office must build the team around Clark. Hull & Boston play best with Clark and should be kept. But the rest of the roster needs upgrading with 3&D team players who hustle in both ends.
Yes, it's what the league needs. It will force the players and coaches to recognize that they represent a business and they will prosper or fail with the fans.
I've been a CC fan since FIBA U17 and U19. I became a Fever fan with her but began to enjoy watching Kelsey Mitchell, Lexie Hull, Temi Fagbenle and Alyssa Boston.

How about the league commenting on the officiating costing more than enough points to change the results.
The Fever show that they are a class act. AT and the rest of the haters can go back to their Rec League ball now for the rest of the season. Interesting that the Fever players got off of social media to get away from the vitriol....
Caitlin gets just as much hate: She doesn't complain about it like a crybaby. Entitled brats.
Yeah exactly it’s the dumbest shiit I heard! Love all the fever ladies ❤
And why is my favorite player Temi Fagbenle?
The racist men are those anti CCFever Team.n
Likely the Fever have a "non-team" player spreading this fake hate to other teams' players.
Because they play for the fever
Adrienne, you are so right!!! Omg. These girls are Indiana are so respectful and professional. Thank you for speaking out on this. Just spot on. We won’t be watching until Caitlin plays again next season.
Funny. Why are they blaming CC's fan base? WHO was abused/harrassed/harmed/beat up the most? Caitlin Clark!!! These LNBA are always playing the victims. Smh. Death Threats? Geez. The truth is, they are threatened by CC's greatness/talent. 👌 She WON the ❤ of lots of generational fans all over the world. 🌏
It's called equity/reparations.
DEU says that blacks are the best and whites the worst.
And it says skin colour is less important than being in the alphabet community. Not being in it = worse than white
They absolutely positively cannot deal with CC's popularity, so they're going at her from all angles: herself, her fans, anything associated with her. The green monster of jealousy is Godzilla-sized. Her presence has brought in more fans, chartered flights, and a big new league contract, but because SHE did it, they hate her. Ingrates.
Because of equity/reparations.

Thank you for calling these negative people out. You’ve hit the nail on the head with every point you stated!
Yes, there’s always going to be a few ignorant people, everywhere. It sucks and it gives these haters an excuse to use them against the Fever. Caitlyn and the Team have always been positive and have been doing their best to stay away from these hater’s drama. It’s sad to think these ladies have to deal with them and their terrible bully attitudes.
It’s too bad that the WNBA has never come out with a statement saying they won’t tolerate the players crossing the line with flagrant fouls. That shouldn’t be acceptable with ANY player in the WNBA.
Many times I heard the game announcers say that there was so much noise from the crowds in the various arena … any place that the Fever played … that they couldn’t hear the officials’ whistles on the court. That’s the best evidence of the support that us Fever fans bring to our team.
The reality is all the Fever games are home games and the league just can't accept it.
Once again you are spot on Adrienne! CC was sent to the WNBA to shine light on a very dark place. As a new fan of women’s basketball my eyes have been opened to a lot this last season. Thank you for all you do Adrienne!
Adrienne Ross, I sure hope the WNBA is watching your channel, because it is right on.

As you should. So did I. Season is over and the games are in ESPN 🙄
The Fever team is loaded with class and professional players. Always proud of them. Thanks for sharing Adrienne. Your posts are always spot on and informative.
The WNBA has rules against wearing any kind of jewelry during a game. I figured I knew why but decided to look it up anyway. *"The reason behind this rule is that the jewelry can cause injury to both the player wearing it and other players."*
I find it odd that they address jewelry, but don't care one way or another about claws.
In 11 years she never had fans showing up for games🙈🤣😂💯
"Clean house as far as officiating is concerned" thats a critical first step.

I'm new to watching the WNBA. I started watching because of all the CC videos bombing my feed. The more I watched the Fever the more I dug their team. Everyone on the team is awesome! The nice thing about B-ball is that players of all colors and backgrounds represent it.
Notice there isn’t one CC fan being racist, just old school players and coaches.

Adrienne I agree 💯 I came to WNBA because of CC.
Love your show and your fairness!
But we love the rest of the team as well!
First time watching the WNBA because of CC, and it was fun while it lasted. See you next year.
Caitlin arrived in a league with the #1 priority being activism with no concern with clean basketball. CC is graceful, humble, not concerned with stats/records, loves her TEAM and ONLY loves her basketball! ☝🏽🙏🏽That’s a problem….🤔🤔🤔
Caitlin has been hurt, pushed slammed, and still came back to the next game. But then they cry about the fans!!!
I think when CC takes the high road and doesn't comment on the crap going on it really makes some people mad.
I thought she was going to cry, too!
yes. kelsey is a peach and a terrific team mate. A shame she was not on top of her game like she was in the weeks approaching the playoffs. She went cold the last couple games before the playoffs. I do NOT blame the pressure of the playoffs as she has proven to be a clutch player and is a key player for the Fevers future.
Amen and she's a fierce competitor as well. This Fever team truly a joy to watch this year.
Agree, Kelsey looks like she is going to cry, I am also crying!
I noticed that too. She loves having fans. And the fans love her. ❤️
I continued to follow her closely since then and she exemplifies such poise, class, intelligence and as my granddaughter says,
“boy can she ball!”
Unfortunately I’ll have to wait until April to watch her again( if she returns to this league) as I’ve witnessed the WNBA for what they represent and I am more that very disappointed in the League and how it is run from the top, down to the referees.
❤Go Fever🏀💥
The nerve. As bad as these women treating CC and she crying racism? You can't make this nonsense up! She is a hypocrite!
In her 11 year career, she’s never experienced sold out arenas and record viewership. The fact that it’s happened this year is obviously because of the energy the rookie class of the 2024 brought and the character of the veteran that embraced them. The haters refuse to accept what’s in front of them and that’s just sad.
Thomas is classless.
3.4 million viewers last nite. WNBA all time record. But no worries Alyssa, I am done watching this year.
And CC really does not feel the need to take credit, but just don't discredit her either.

God help the next lot of rookies if this is how they get treated.

That is an amazing thank you from the best team in the league❤️
They are a young, enthusiastic, high energy team, exciting to view: however they are very short on experience, and the ability to deal with the physical nature of the WNBA. They took a big step this year, but the next two years will be critical: need stronger bench, and players to complement their core assets:
This will be very difficult to accomplish in view of the current powerhouses: Sun.
