This squad is never out of a game. When you think they are, clutch hit here. Stolen base there. Defensive gems. So exciting to watch and they're only going to get better. "Go O's!"
I don't know how many times this season I've watched a game where they were down early and just thought, "Wait until they hit the 7th inning". More often than not, the third time through the lineup,, the O's put numbers on the scoreboard, then turn it over to Bautista to finish things out. So much fun to watch...
Elias has completely revolutionized the O’s. Created a analytics department, created an Dominican Academy, upgraded drafting got the minor league system all on the same page with the parent club, restocked the system with talent and now the O’s are no longer a joke of an organization
Great rebuild so far. Now let's see if over the next couple of years he can turn all those prospects into players or trades that can win a World Series.
I think Mike would be the first to tell you that even he didn’t expect this level of success so soon. They are at lest a year early. But this just shows how good he and the scouting dept are…they picked kids who are performing above expectations. Mike came from a scouting background, so this isn’t too surprising. The orioles look real good.
My man Mike is killing it! If he keeps this up he may surpass the best GM in B-more history Ozzie Newesome. Get it Mike! Thank you as well!! Much Love!!
Heeeeey chill man , Ozzie drafted 3 hall of famers with sizzle and yanda being next , not to mention the pro bowlers and most importantly the 2 Lombardi’s sitting in Owings Mills , not mention the drafting of Lamar Jackson … i love mike no doubt like i really love what he’s done as a fan who’s been here thick and thin since 1987 … but legacies are cemented with World Series trophies… when he wins one … then talk 💯💯💯💯
Now is the time to call up Heston. The kid has a slashline of .344/.421/.584 in triple A and we desperately need outfield depth after the hicks injury. I don't think Colton can step in full time.
we need middle relief. our pitching prospects should have been our middle relief this year, getting them used to the bigs and keeping their innings low.
many fans, includig myself, see that middle relief is the biggest defficientcy plaguing the Orioles. the past weekend series in Tampa showed that in a few of the games where the Orioles had leads. only to allow the Rays to tie one of those games. John Means should be making progress soon after Tommy John and a soreness issue (i can't recall the exact problem). my opinion for his return is to ease him into these middle relief appearances. just to get the feel of pitching to MLB hitters again. maybe after a few appearances, he will get spot starts with a pitch count. other than that, this team looks good. they hit HRs, steal bases, sacrifice bunts---the small ball that they didn't employ for damn near 25-30 years.
If they make a trade for a ace starter please make sure you can resign. Do not trade future for rental. Poor decision. Also ohtani will not be resigned so that will not happen this ownership doesn't spend what he will fetch on its whole roster hes not going to be a oriole an that is just fine!
Why? They're the underdog of underdogs. A team built with home grown players and veteran cast offs. 2nd lowest payroll in baseball. What they're doing is admirable. Nobody respects the teams who try to buy a championship.
How so? Just making the playoffs is progress especially since it’s been 7 years since the last time we were in. Plus we’re only in the beginning of our window that looks to be a long one and this is a young team without any playoff experience aside from a few players. It’s not like we’re the braves or astros where anything other than a deep playoff run is a failure.
Just making the playoffs is a massive win for this organization. They still have 7 more top 100 prospects on the way. They're nowhere near as good as they're going to be in a year or 2.
This guy deserves to be the highest paid GM. What he did in Houston was great, what he has done so far I’m Baltimore is AMAZING!
Gonna give bmore a ring

Marlins fan here…gotta give love to the Orioles, love how they’re playing!
Lookin' good!
GO O'S BABY
Love our O’s! Tenacity, Grit, and Can Do attitude!
If my O’s actually do it this year, or in the next few years, IMO Elias will be the 2nd best modern-day GM in MLB history behind the obvious 🐐

Go O's!
The Orioles are on their way to the Top of Baseball elite. Our farm system is dead on, trade for a pitcher for the playoff push. #beltway95sports
Not bringing in an Ace NOW, would be a SIN!
I’d love to trade for Shane Bieber, he could be our ace for next 4 years!
