Saw this today, 14/11/21 in Lidl so I came to YT for a review. I doubt any other compressor will have a correct reading at all. If they are to be exact, then they need calibrated once a week to stay accurate. As long at it works efficiently, last a long time and is reasonably priced then its worth it. I think I will be changing my 20 year old one for this. Thanks for the upload.
The first thing to brake is the shaft that couples bearing to the shaft with counter weight that's mounted on motor shaft. Just had to make a new one from some shaft from printer
I got new C2 version. It has plastic piston and rod- based on 9years old youtube video, A1 has metal piston. Also different cylinder head, A1 has more parts to it. Both has proper bearing at the bottom of rod, but A1 has clip ring, C2 has rolled end. But any ways on discount for 12.5e a good tool. I see that first part to fail could be valve on top of piston, it holds in place on two plastic studs that has melted ends- like rivets. But that would be rather easy fix if they do fail.
Until I started watching your videos, I had never heard of, "Lidl." It looks like there are stores/retailers on the East Coast (Of the US), but since I live on the West Coast, We don't see this. Nice to see another video of yours... I am almost expecting them on a day-to-day basis lol PS: I hope you had a wonderful and well earned Father's Day, Sir.
Lidl is a German groceries store which i don't think exist outside Europe. It exists all around Europe, (italy, spain, france, germany, ect) Here in italy i got one of them too last summer (they were offered at the stores for €15), and i have to say that it works really well for the price. Im happy to have it in my trunk.
Doing a bit of reading it seems that Lidl actually enetered US starting with 2017 on the East Coast. But it seems they are not doing as good as in the EU, because of poor location (at the edge of the cityes?) decisions mostly. In Romania we did not have Father's Day 😔 But my daughters make me a happy father each day, so that is ok 🤭
@@UltimateDIY Ahh Okay, That, I did not know(About Father's day in Romania). But knowing that your precious angels make you happy each and everyday, is a BLESSING all on its own. Take care my friend.. Until next time..
Today I was in LIDL ( in croatia ) I saw the compressor and I liked the price , if I remember correctly it was maybe 180kn which is about €24 ( maybe less ) so I wanted to see if it's worth buying or not and thank you for your video , now I'm settling on buying it
Hello please can you tell me what amp is the fuse in the connector, I broke the original connector and bought 2 different connectors from eBay but the fuse keeps blowing. Thanks
Looks like a decent unit, a similar unit here in Illinois through Amazon is going for about 35$ with a digital gauge and yeah they do say it will be 0.5 to 1.5 psi over what the gauge is showing. Could not tell you what that is in bar ;) .
@@UltimateDIY They have prime day so the price went down today. 26.50... Here is the link to compare for fun, weighs 4 pounds so it is hefty. www.amazon.com/dp/B078LYX5YF/?coliid=I3UOXIUSZU7RC7&colid=2MWMH1KFNYCDB&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it
@@UltimateDIY I will let you know everything about it when I receive it today. Most of my shopping is through Amazon and the way it works is that you get 5% back on every purchase and I spend a decent amount, it ended up being free. Being our tax is 7% it's not free but it feels like that when the end of the month comes by. Looking at yours the motor does look correct and the piston housing looks robust. Prime day on Amazon happens once a year and it's allot like black Friday here. I imagine you will see Amazon there one day in the future. It has it's good sides and it bad for the little guy in business. Started buying online in 1982 with the Commodore 64 computer in 1982 or there bouts. No pictures in those day just descriptions and it was only small stuff that I purchased. Maybe I can take a video and throw it up on my channel :)..

It's a good product. Get it without fear. About the gauge, you are right, all of them are a bit off in one way or another.
Thank you! Very nice video. Next week on my country it will be 13 euros.
Thank you. It's a good deal 👍🏻

At least it seems to be something fixable 👍🏻

Hello, thanks for the review, very useful :) Could you please also post a link to the manometer (pressure gauge) which you use?
No link for that...it's really old...

The first one that we bought had the hose crack do to aging. We replaced the hose and it still working perfectly 👍🏼

Hello. It's a F20AL 250V.
Will you recommend this for roadside assistant job?
They work really well, but I have no idea how long they last under professional use
Gets pretty hot. Dk will it last getting so hot. But for the price is fine
True, but that only when using it for a long yime.
Hi what is the name and trademark of the more precise manometer you are using in the video?
Hi. Sadly, it's a no-name.
Looks like a decent unit, a similar unit here in Illinois through Amazon is going for about 35$ with a digital gauge and yeah they do say it will be 0.5 to 1.5 psi over what the gauge is showing. Could not tell you what that is in bar ;) .
If it's this well built, even that price is worth it, over the weak plastic ones.

@@UltimateDIY I purchased one, lets see what I end up with. I will let you know the results.
That actually looks really good. From what I see, it has maybe an auto off function when it reaches the set pressure?

Any idea why mine (air hose) is very hard to remove from the tire valve?
You are lifting the locking flap before removing it, no?
@@UltimateDIY yes. Vertical is open position right?
Yes. Then maybe it will loosen in time. Did you try it on another car also?
@@UltimateDIY hmm. Yeah different cars and wheels all the same. Very difficult to take off the stem after i put air in.
I really don't know. Mine is not really easy to take out, but I would not call it difficult. Maybe you have a defective coupling somehow.
Does it have a thing to blow air out to clean dust from pc ?
No. It does not produce enough airflow. It is optimised for pressure.
nice video...mate, its lidl..its absolutely a cheaply made piece of crap, but if it does the job, good enough..
As car tyre pumps go, it's actually at a higher level of quality than most of them. You can find much worse at a similar price.
Its actually loud enough.
But way less loud compared to "plastic" variants.
how accurate are gauge manometers on these Ultimate speed compressors?
When you first connect it it's quite accurate, but while in use it's not.
