Regarding M6132, how do you like the shuttle? Do you find it jerky when changing directions and you are on hard ground or road with empty (or light) tractor?
I like the shuttle and the controls on it. Having the button to lift the three point linkage on the shuttle is really good. To be honest I don't think I use the forward reverse button on the shuttle that but there is a dial to change the aggressiveness of the change of direction under the armrest. Watch the next video for a demonstration!
Spot on David! I won't rule it out in the future but the motor and bracket is pretty simple to remove and swap between tractors and has been fairly cheap and easy to implement. The motor I'm using is perhaps a bit slow especially when I've tried headland turns with the software but I can't fault it for straight AB guidance and curved guidance when planting headlands (plus it only cost about £40). Thanks for watching and your comments 👍
@@jimsfarming7792 Thank you for making the videos. I'm currently looking into implementing AgOpenGPS, I found your channel whilst researching it, really good seeing it in action.
I started off getting agopengps wired in to my sprayer control box which was fairly simple and to me probably the most useful feature. The autosteer is pretty good - I could never justify the price of a mainstream system but it's taken a while to get the steer settings right, I'm not sure I'm completely there yet!. If you have any more questions about it I'll try and help you out as much as I can. I'd definitely recommend having a bowse through the forum👍
Hi@@ivansarosevic4929sorry for the slow reply. unfortunately I don't really have the time to provide a whole guidance system for you. However I'm more than happy to provide advice based on how I've put my system together.
Hi Gregor, it depends upon date and seedbed conditions. Our seed order took quite a long time to arrive this year so planting has been later so it's been in the region of 180 - 200 kg\ha. If we were planting in september it would have been around 160 kg. That said seed beds have been quite good and it has been quite warm. We don't worry too much about thousand grain weight or seeds per m3.
What shaft couple and wheel do you use for steeringmotor

Nice! Guess I was pretty much correct with my guess then! Any reason you chose not go with a hydraulic steering valve for AgOpenGPS control?

What is your sowing rate?
