Hello! My wife and I just found your channel and we're thankful for it as there aren't too many content creators doing daily life videos in Baguio right now. We will be visiting Baguio for the first time in the second half of January as it is topping our list of possible retirement cities because of the cool weather, great coffee and food scene and it looks like a great place to remain active. Retirement is still years away but we want to see as many cities as we can so that we can make a good choice. Thank you for the up to date cost of living list. Would you have any suggestions about how someone would find a house for rent? All I can find from the US is Lamudi and there are so few options. Looking forward to more videos!
I lived in Baguio for 4 years in college. Weird enough, I loved going out when it's raining hard or foggy and hang around SM or Burnham park. I'm planning to visit there again one day, it's been 13 years since my last visit. Rent back then were only around 1500/month.
I just added up 22,000 pesos a month which would be affordable to me, and that is affordable. I would want to live bicycling distance from downtown to avoid tourism as much as possible in a place with greenery, maybe even near a park. Your video was pleasantly well done. What a lovely city.
Currently, our apartment complex is full. One of the problems in Baguio is finding available apartments with parking space, so I suggest try to rent a condo that offers pay parking 🙂
OMG that weather would be paradise. Great video
