Can confirm I went into this with a Polypore staff, subjugation, and an inventory full of sharks and in just over an hour made 2.5m (with no Rare relic drops) and went from 81 mage to 85. If you’re lower level that needs to bank often just keep the Ring of Kinship in your Inventory and use it to tp to the DG bank and quickly run back to the boat.
An easier way is unlocking the "War's Retreat" Teleport which takes you to a bank chest, and the portal that leads straight to the boat for shadow reef. (Its the portal on the far right. You may need to kill KBD 10 or so times first tho
I have 2 friends who do this with me from time to time, and we make anywhere from 6m (horrible luck) an hour, up to 18m (wtf kind of luck). One evening we did it for 3 hours straight and I ended up with a chest worth 40m! I usually just throw the commons into my auto alchemizer and forget about them so I get every penny of it. Each run only takes about 4 minutes since we absolutely nuke every one of the groups. I'm a pleb and dont have bladed dive or double surge, so I'm sure if you have those it can go even quicker! I definitely reccomend this in groups because you can turn it into a friendly competition to see who gets more money, which makes it even more exciting when you get rares or the occasional rare item (with lucky charms). I do also to mention the importance of lucky charms. One of my friends got dropped a 5m gp cash stack from his lucky charms! Imagine if that had doubled! They usually activate on pretty good drops and unlike ed1 when you do get dropped onyx dust it usually gives you 10-40 instead of 1-10. Overall this is my favourite place to farm. It takes a lot of prep work but it's so worth it :)
Finally got to where I thought I needed to be to attempt this, and even with almost an entire inventory of sharks, it was hard to make it to the end (and didn't even have the mini boss). I had soul split, overload, nox scythe, 99 att, 94 def, 91 str, 96 hp, blood amulet of fury, and bandos. I feel like I must be missing something. I know other people can complete runs on just sharks, but that doesn't seem to be enough for me.
use vampyrism aura. i usually use that on my solo runs to help with food usage. also manually use your aoe thresholds so you can use them more efficiently.
@@philberttron I'm much too lazy to use them manually lol. I do have vampyrism, but afer several runs I've gotten things down pretty well and don't need too much good (usually have over 14 sharks remaining). So things got better once I figured things out.

There is actually a second miniboss you can run into on that run. You have to go slightly out of the way for it though but it's the big statue head called Hanto
A lot of hight level people don't know about shadow reef and sometimes I explain them how to do that, they always say that shadow reef is my house😂 I enjoy ur guides dude, im part of spanish community that see your videos.
This method is still OP. myself and 2 other sweaty players with scythe, steel titans, and berserk auras got me 3m attack xp in 1 hour. When i do it with 2 other not as maxed out players it's a steady 2.2m xp/hr
Using lucky charms also helps with loot, chance at rares to whatever dungeon your in too, like dragonkin lab you get chance at dragonkin coin(pet) if you bring charms
It does help with loot but if your just doing xp/gp farms, you will need to do token farms to fund the tokens required to buy charms, personally not worth doing...
Just recently returned to rs3 after quitting for so long, currently f2p and after watching this, I feel like I want to get back to p2p just becuz of this, lit af.
tips: use demonhorn necklace/splittooth dragon necklace + bonecrusher for unlimited prayer pts also join edteams fc for ed3 gf teams, ed1 tf teams and also prioritize aoe abilities before anything else, and use tsunami at the back of bossy to gain health through ss
On top of the amazing xp and money gains, ive seen alot of people get the zombie champion scroll from here doing this as well :) And if you get bored and wanna change it up after a few runs ill usually do the 1st boss just for fun since his mechanics are super easy and its fun to kill.
That's a good suggestion actually, you could just kill the first boss for fun! :) didn't even know you could get the zombie champion scroll from those zombies lol, that's sick for people going for comp
That's true, I got 2 zombie champion scrolls from doing ~19h farming here during dXPw (I also got 72m xp in stregth which made me 120, 24m xp in constitution and 5m XP IN DG!) What I did was use max teleport at bossy and use boss teleport to go to ed3 entrance.

I would say that besides that,the only thing I would probably add is for players to at least try to get through Crassian Leviathan as well coz it's legit a really easy boss.Apart from that xp wise and gp wise it's quite decent.But of course i still prefer Elite Dungeon 2.This would be my second favourite Elite Dungeon.It's just so good.
@@kevinrios8127 Regular sirenic still degrades in elite dungeons, however you can repair it by adding using another piece of sirenic armor on it. (Really only do that if you have it augmented.) Cause the other option to keep it is that sirenic breaks rather than dusting if it is dyed, but that is the far more expensive option.

This is awesome, been doing this for a few runs and the xp is phenomenal. The cash is a bonus too! Getting so many LOTD drops, waiting for a good one currently. Trying mechanized chins currently vs using my lance. Can this be done for the other 2 dungeons as well for good loot/xp?

I am the original runescape noob. I went solo and learned inside ed3 my combat skills. Other places yes but this place gave me great xp and gold. Once this became easy I started in on that first boss. Now I am working on getting across the bridge to the second boss. That is killing me every visit and it's not getting any easier.
Also there is a second mini boss right after second room named Mudo I think. It’s just a head that sticks out the ground. Also you get dunge XP after clearing each mob but it’s only like 300-500xp
I actually used this method to get 99 in my combats on my ironman, and in the process unlocked frost drags from level 1 DG which I used to max my prayer. ED3 stands the test of time, people.

with the release of War's retreat aka pvm hub its currently even easier to get here as long as you have the pvm hub teleport which is fairly easy to get you can use that to teleport after each run then run into the farest east portal as its currently set to ed3 =)

Well... I thought this was going to be the perfect way to get up to 60 invention absurdly fast. Can confirm that SS with just a Black Salamander can't even come close to keeping up with the damage output of even just a couple of the mobs. Almost died within my first 2 minutes in. So back to the Abyss to get my 60 invention and then I'll go back in with an augmented Nox Staff :(
Well I have to do that because I want it to be more accurate :D, thanks btw. I could have also drained my stats using brews much like what I did with my revamped combat guides however I was having too much fun with my maxed stats to want to do that.

Armadyl works for most content in the game. Do not use death lotus, you want that ranged bonus from dps armour. Then once you have money upgrade to pernix for higher level bosses like rax/nex/raids etc
Protoxx, Can you ss your melee (Nox Scythe) ability bar and your Ranged (I use dual Asc) ability bar please? I messed mine up and just can't get them right again for ED3. High level Thx
Nice vid, and my favourite combat trining place :D, but i learned something a few days ago (might get patched) atleast the relics is not counted correctly on the total chest value. I had a 10m chest and removed the 4 rare relics in it and was left with a 4m chest :/ Seems like the rare relic counts as 1.5m even tho its alched for only 1m... just a headsup for ppl who wonder why u dint end up with all the money the chest said u had.
This has been a issue with inconsistent chest numbers. Basically because the number accounts for both high alch and low alch value. Why is that? Idk but just always think that whatever you see in your chest, expect 30% less than that value
Hey, I noticed im starting to make 300k-500k per run doing solo- no group created. If im lucky I get 1 to 2 mill a run after a couple of runs , any ideas why I'm not making as much as before? :(
With Bandos armor and dragon halberd, I carry an inv full of catfish, but I’m close to drained of all food at room 3 (just before the cloaked zealot), is this normal? How do I get past the cloaked zealot anyway? It drains my health and food too fast. Do I aim at the summoned crassians and then only deal AOE damage to the mages?

I copied your ability bar and been doing this but it just doesn’t seem like it’s working as well. I’m not sure if I messed up the bar or what but my character has a lot of times where I pause and wait for an ability to come up or attack with a basic. I still get good rates but I feel like it could be better. Any ideas what could be the cause of the big waits I get while in combat? Using dragon rider lance but that wouldn’t effect speed would it? Great video as always and has been super helpful learning to do this!
ProtoxxGaming actually taking a closer look at your bar I’m missing the last ability in your auto rotation! I can’t seem to make out what it is but I have everything else!
Just a heads up to people looking at doing this, the relics in the loot chest are not included in the loot value, so really when he says 420k gp its more like 550k+
Don't think that will do. You're defence is way too low, get it up to an absolute minimum of 70, and get t70 armour (Bandos). The mobs here will seriously trash you around with t50 armour and defence 57. With a group it should be doable, but tread carefully and maybe ask others in your team to use incite or provoke to 'protect' you from getting attacked. Your dps should be high, so you'll still be of value to the group!
One thing to point out is the total value on the chest is a flawed number. For some reason Jagex values the common relics at 8.333k but they only alch for 5k same with the uncommon. So the value there is a little higher than what it should be
So I tried this for an hour (max + good gear) and the GP is not amazing but not bad either, however the XP is crazy good, 1.5m per hour. As a whole the mobs and mini bosses are easier to deal with than ED1 (the tiny crab things seem to hurt the most). Anyone considering doing this should do it ASAP imo. I'd be surprised if they don't nerf the XP at some point. Also the common relics disassemble into some useful basic components for invention. Oh and I did get a ragefire gland and some onxy dust by using a shadow reef lucky charm (10k dg tokens each) - I'm not sure if the charms are worth using or not. Sadly running the whole dungeon solo is impossible for me because the jump up in level at the final Ambassador boss is just stupidly hard.
But ur maxed (at least that I know of, mid lvl players will struggle with accuracy because of their stats and gear and it will slow them down, this is also why i recommend that people do not ji those "horror" creatures in the corner with 35k hp

I do it with magic in combat legacy mode with maxed out acc, I dont even use any pray, any food, any potions, and powering through ca 4-5 mins(solo) using only seasinger's set and nox staff. with blood barrage its way too easy :D

Besides the aoe melee rotation is there any other abilities I need to get to make the runs faster? Like does tuskas wrath work on the mobs?
Fair to remind, if you're high level, and have the money to spare, the t92 armor doesn't degrade in elite dungeons, I think

Rs3 needs a gold sink. The amount of money that comes in from alchs in ed3 is scary tbh.

You can use Trimmed Masterwork here and it won’t degrade. Super nice.

I would say that from 70-80 combat stats u should duo or trio, then 80+ combat stats and gear u can start soloing properly

Nice vid, and my favourite combat trining place :D, but i learned something a few days ago (might get patched) atleast the relics is not counted correctly on the total chest value. I had a 10m chest and removed the 4 rare relics in it and was left with a 4m chest :/ Seems like the rare relic counts as 1.5m even tho its alched for only 1m... just a headsup for ppl who wonder why u dint end up with all the money the chest said u had.

This has been a issue with inconsistent chest numbers. Basically because the number accounts for both high alch and low alch value. Why is that? Idk but just always think that whatever you see in your chest, expect 30% less than that value

Hey, I noticed im starting to make 300k-500k per run doing solo- no group created. If im lucky I get 1 to 2 mill a run after a couple of runs , any ideas why I'm not making as much as before? :(
With Bandos armor and dragon halberd, I carry an inv full of catfish, but I’m close to drained of all food at room 3 (just before the cloaked zealot), is this normal?
How do I get past the cloaked zealot anyway? It drains my health and food too fast. Do I aim at the summoned crassians and then only deal AOE damage to the mages?
You have to take the cloaked zealots down first. Then once they're down, deal with the crassians using your aoe abilities.
Sweet. I’ve run this twice and leveled up a bit. 74 ranged and defense right now and I’m looking forward to getting armadyl soon. Or maybe just skip it and get serenic.

I copied your ability bar and been doing this but it just doesn’t seem like it’s working as well. I’m not sure if I messed up the bar or what but my character has a lot of times where I pause and wait for an ability to come up or attack with a basic. I still get good rates but I feel like it could be better. Any ideas what could be the cause of the big waits I get while in combat? Using dragon rider lance but that wouldn’t effect speed would it? Great video as always and has been super helpful learning to do this!

It actually isn't, the only boss worth killing is the final one because it drops ECB pieces

Hello I’m 99 summoning, 95+ dungeoneering, 99 melee stats, 95 pray and 57 defence - can I do this alone? What would be my armour and weapon?
Don't think that will do. You're defence is way too low, get it up to an absolute minimum of 70, and get t70 armour (Bandos). The mobs here will seriously trash you around with t50 armour and defence 57.
With a group it should be doable, but tread carefully and maybe ask others in your team to use incite or provoke to 'protect' you from getting attacked. Your dps should be high, so you'll still be of value to the group!
why does every gear set have to be ridiculous or you need almost max skills in order to craft items you need

One thing to point out is the total value on the chest is a flawed number. For some reason Jagex values the common relics at 8.333k but they only alch for 5k same with the uncommon. So the value there is a little higher than what it should be

I tried a run but could only get to the crabs before these 2 mage guys that summon crabs. i have 80+ stats but dunno couldnt get far
So I tried this for an hour (max + good gear) and the GP is not amazing but not bad either, however the XP is crazy good, 1.5m per hour. As a whole the mobs and mini bosses are easier to deal with than ED1 (the tiny crab things seem to hurt the most). Anyone considering doing this should do it ASAP imo. I'd be surprised if they don't nerf the XP at some point.
Also the common relics disassemble into some useful basic components for invention. Oh and I did get a ragefire gland and some onxy dust by using a shadow reef lucky charm (10k dg tokens each) - I'm not sure if the charms are worth using or not.
Sadly running the whole dungeon solo is impossible for me because the jump up in level at the final Ambassador boss is just stupidly hard.
If they nerf this I'll be salty tbh.

Korup7ion First boss isn’t too hard if you learn the mechanic. It can drop onyx dust and it’s a free 4K dunge tokens.
I dont recommend doing it. You get some money, but nothing in comparison to the actual run.
Doing this with a good team is even better gp and xp, just make sure to damage every single mob so u can get his xp and gp
there are 2 minibosses u can encounter bossy and hanto
Killing bossy actually boosted my xp rates instead of decreasing it + give me some extra dg xp and tokens + a small chance for a 50m sword drop...
But ur maxed (at least that I know of, mid lvl players will struggle with accuracy because of their stats and gear and it will slow them down, this is also why i recommend that people do not ji those "horror" creatures in the corner with 35k hp

I do it with magic in combat legacy mode with maxed out acc, I dont even use any pray, any food, any potions, and powering through ca 4-5 mins(solo) using only seasinger's set and nox staff. with blood barrage its way too easy :D
