Seed was fine but seed destiny was disappointed in the early series of seed destiny it was really good but the finale was very very disappointed me i was very sad very glad 00 is such bad ass right now its follow by iron blooded orphans it was really awesome

The premise of a sequel featuring cast members from the original IS to nullify a previous happy ending. You can't have a series without some sort of conflict after all. If anything, Destiny has done one thing right (which is surprising): Showing how SENSELESS Uzumi's decision to drag almost literally everyone of his government (most importantly, the pro-Athha members) to die with him was (don't tell me the Kusanagi can't take a few more people). The result is Cagalli being a mere figurehead of the country two years later because there's no one important left to support her (no, a mere captain in the armed forces and a bunch of retired soldiers from the last war don't count). I'll agree that Destiny is shit and dragged SEED down along with it, but not for this particular reason.

Now that I think about it, Cagalli and Lacus would probably be better-suited to each other's homes. Cagalli and Zaft are more militant and willing to fight, while Orb and Lacus always prefer to retain their neutrality even in the face of battle
Perhaps that was the writers intention too... leave Cagalli in ORB Despite ORB being a peaceful country, while leaving Lacus with a militant type of nation. Both had to learn to understand how to run their country.
Unlike some of its other defenders, Gundam SEED was NOT my first Gundam series. I had seen Wing, 8th MS Team, G Gundam, and bits and pieces of other series before I saw SEED. It may not hold up quite as well as several other Gundam series, but I still unironically enjoy it to this day.
Western U.C and Wing fans don't know anything about gundam. If I were you, I will just do what i enjoy. We only live once, dont let those fucktards make you sad. I love the seed series. I love the so called Jesus Yamato and both Freedom Gundam. The only suit i hate is destiny since it is really just a strike 3 in 1. Seed and Destiny is still a hit in Japan. Gundam Seed is the only anime ever to make war look absolutly disgusting while keeping up the coolness of a mecha-fight. And it's music, all song are reinforcing this feeling. My 35-year old a** bought the complete edition on blue-ray for 400€ and I will never regret it (even my wife forgave me after looking it with me...)
