MY FAVORITE VIDEOS! Really like to learn/hear more on how you fish the jig worm. I could see that working here in the Northeast for both Largies AND Smallies.
Thank you! I’ll keep em coming! The jigworm is an awesome bait for both but I think I lean to a Ned rig more for smallmouth. I like the jigworm when I’m fishing weeds. The uniquely designed head on the Outkast Money Jig makes snapping the jig out of grass real easy and allows me to use lighter line for more pickier fish. Try it! It’ll work great!
@@JoshDouglasFishing definitely going to do that, I love the outkast tackle net head. Almost like it was designed by somebody that knows something about catching smallmouth. :-)
These vids really help. The majority of my rods are Loomis and Exprides and I used to second guess my set ups all the time. Do you ever throw jerkbaits or cranks on spinning tackle? If so what rod? I have bad hands and often have to switch between casting and spinning to deal with it...especially in the colder months.
Love to hear it! Glad they’re helping you get rigged up for the water! I have thrown jerkbaits and in some cases crankbaits on spinning tackle though not too often. I generally only throw them on spinning gear if the baits too light for casting gear. With that said, I know lots of good anglers who do use spinning in most jerkbait applications.
Josh, I just purchases a NRX+ 894C JWR for pitching/flipping jigs/plastics in mainly milfoil, grass, do you think this is good or should I go with the 903 or 904mbr?
Also looking at the 844C MBR because im only 5'8" so thinking maybe little shorter rod but want it stout enough for milfoil/hydrilla/coontail. 5-15' water. Only fish in NY so are largemouth do get much bigger than 6lbs
I can see my life looking like this video in 10 years. I just started my nrx collection. Bought a spinning and casting + all I need now is a exsense.
Yeah buddy! Careful, once you hear the drag on the Exsence having just one isn’t going to cut it!
Waiting for this vid💪🔥
Thx Landen! 👊

Great rods! I always thought Shimano used GLoomis rod blanks for most of their rods?
