Excellent initiative, Atul! There is a lot of material online for SAC, but you have well-structured the knowledge base for users. Your videos are easy to understand and to the point without additional unrelated details. Thank you, and please, continue making more useful videos.
For any other data source except XlS , Do we need to create a model every time for creating a story or directly we can use the back-end data source without creating a model ?
we can either create a model or can directly connect to the live data sources.. it all depends on the data sources we are connecting.. some of the databases have already model view available which we can directly consume in SAC... we will see this in detail in coming videos.. thank you for asking!!
@@AtulKadlag: kindly make a video on connecting to live connection which is connecting to data source without creating model and also connecting to the databases which already have view in them which we can consume in SAC directly

Can I create model from multiple model ? I have some problem with data blending on story level. Some of the functions are not working but I have two model that is why I want to merge two model
yes, this can be done with data blending. add the two models in the data source one by one .. Once you add the models perform following steps. 1) Once you have added both models to your story, you can start blending the data. 2) Go to the story page and create a new table or chart. 3) Select the primary model for the table or chart. 4) Then, click on the “Blend Data” icon (usually represented by a link or chain symbol). 5) Select the secondary model you want to blend with the primary model. 6) Create a Link: You will need to create a link between the two models. This is done by selecting a common dimension or measure that exists in both models. Define the relationship (e.g., Inner Join, Left Join) based on your requirement. 7) Configure Blend Options: You can configure various blend options such as aggregation types, link type, and others to ensure the data is combined correctly. 8) Use Blended Data: After creating the link, you can now use the blended data in your story. You can drag and drop measures and dimensions from both models into your table or chart. Hope this helps
Hi Atul, Can you please explain, how can I link\marge multiple data files when creating Data Model using flat files. Example: If I have multiple data files which are linked with some key fields (primary key), then how to bring all the related files in the same data model. In practical scenarios, it is very much applicable & important. Thanks in advance.
Thanks for Video, is there way file to be picked daily from location automatically ex daily new file placed to that model get published based on new file ?

Hi, in my SAC account, in grid view, Arithmetic action F(x) is not visible, how to enable it.?
it should be enabled by default, which database you are connecting.. I do not think there is any specific setting to enable only arithmetic functions.
