- In this tutorial I demonstrate Excel model which calculates FIFO formula for many products. The model also calculates inventory by products and distinguishes them by their unique purchase prices. The model has no Visual Basic! ENJOY! :-)

I have been following your UA-cam channel & your fifo excel sheet is superb..
I'm stock trader & I want to maintain an excel for investments on FIFO basis.
For example: I purchased X company's share which has opening balance form last year & also purchase made this year & now I sell the shares soo I want to that FIFO method should be applied first shares from opening balances should be reduced thn from purchases..
If u can help my by providing a template or if u can guide how to build such an template, It will be a great help..

i am having an issue with the table. if the sale amount exceeds the total purchases up to that row then it does not calculate correctly. for instance, I purchase 10 units at $10 a piece and then another 10 units at $9 a piece. then my first sale is 12 units it will calculate all the 12 units sold at $10 COGS.

Hi, when using the multiple products tab, does anyone know why when adding rows, the value error appears for select rows in columns P-T? doesn't happen to every row, only a few, but obviously if I F2 any other cell in P-T, it also recreates the same error
when i evaluate the formula in the broken cells, it shows Sum(--IF({0;0;0;0;0;0;0;0;0;0;0;0;0}
I tried to seperate each table into each sheet and adjust the formula accordingly but it doesn't work the same. Can you help me take a look?

Very good but bogs down with larger amounts of data. If one could simplify and get rid of array formulas to speed up calculations with more records this could be great.

the Model is really excellent. but where is Day column. as I always wanted to know daily usage?
Hi Irfan, what you can do is as follows:
1. In cell for example E13 type in date (this cell will be white-shaded then).
2. In column A, next to SKU/ID, add Day column. Below type in dates. And then somewhere above, say in range [C7:C9] (next to SKU summary), you can write SUMIFS formula which would summarize used quantities for a given SKU in a given day (day is referred to cell E13).
