There have been several waves of antisemitism in Europe throughout the centuries, but this was the highest peak. The worst is that the world was aware of what was happening in the death camps, through witnesses and reports like the 'protocol of Auschwitz'. As per the rumor, Churchill asked in march 1944 to study the feasability of air raids against Auscwhwitz; the allied headquarters dismissed the operation as 'not a priority'. Also, when the first death camps were liberated by the soviet army in 1945, the footages were at first censored as 'russian propaganda'.

I actually just recently watched a thing on the proposition of air raids on Auschwitz, I didn’t know about it until recently. It’s hard to tell when exactly everybody figured out what was going on, only that by the latter part of the war it doesn’t seem to be much of a secret anymore. One of the more interesting parts of this to me was the reich trying to hide it. Building in specific places, or on specific land, the charade for the Red Cross, etc. For how strongly they felt about it it’s somewhat strange to me that even they felt it was necessary to hide.

@@rayceofhistory It is true. The first one, to admit that the local administrations in the occupied countries actively helped the germans, was the french president Jacques Chirac. His speech caused a wave of outrage across Europe.

Its easier to turn a blind eye to things that happen around you in war I think.
I love the song. The solo is great and the beat mimics the sound of trains rolling on tracks.Sabaton has actually done this one live in Krakow. For me it's a very emotional performance. Check ot out here; ua-cam.com/video/2CXViVwreZg/v-deo.html

There's some live versions of this song, they play it acoustic. The song is so much better, it feels awkward to rock out to this lyrics. I think the best version is from Krakow

I got asked on the discord if I liked the song or not, and I specifically said I did but it was a really weird song to head bang too. And that if I ever ran for office there would be a silent clip of me rocking out to a song called “the final solution”.

Well, thanks to having more than one brain cell, i'm among that group who don't rock out to this one. I have to admit though, the drum beat is amazing.

I wouldn’t say it’s funny but it’s amazing how humans would hate anyone if given the proper stimulus and inputs where even the most mundane or most brutal of actions could seem trivial or even funny, when people use to sell slaves or did slavery where contrast to popular or modern beliefs, slavery was practically everywhere from the south of America with the Aztecs, the Arab empires, Asia and even in Europe where slaves and slavery was so common, where people were brought up and raised to see slaves as barely human let alone property and so nobody cared let alone treated their slaves and saw them as nothing more than expendable labor or as a status symbol and even In a single generation where if the correct stimulus and environment were to arise, where people are being told to hate each other or a certain group due to social collapse or decay or extreme ecological problems like today where there has been no greater divide between the left and the moderate right where the left is either you obey our rules and follow our sunshine and rainbows fantasy or you’re against us, vs the corrupt and usually useless right but because one side is becoming too extreme most moderates vote for the right because, the independents are too small or are just useless and do t have the power or influence and are what most people want but again too small and inexperienced. And again much like in Germany where there was a massive and very hostile situation where it was the communists vs the socialists/ nationalists, where the communists wanted to be a part of the Soviet Union, vs the social nationalist who believed in a Germany for all and Germany for the Germans, and so as their power and influence increased where threats and even murders and bombings were a common sight where if you didn’t support the nazis then the brown shirts would beat you to a pulp and burn your house Down, and if the communists hated you they’re do the exact same thing and so people sought protection as well as results and as the nazis grew in power and the German senate, was weak as F and was printing more and more money as well as borrowing more and more from America until the Wall Street crash which bankrupt Germany which was forced to pay back its loans with money it didn’t have, and considering and this isn’t me being racist or anti Jewish or any of that sort, but jews tend to be good with money as well as highly skilled craftsmen and workers such as watch makers, jewelers, bankers, ect and since these jews were making high quality items and were by their Standards making an actual living whilst most other people were burning money just to keep warm and don’t get me wrong many jews did suffer but not as badly as everyone else and so this lingering resentment and this jealousy of the jews, grew and grew and grew and much like a Reddit post, people would believe anything they’re told, and when you not only have the government telling you that jews are selfish, jews are greedy, jews are the devil who taint the purity of Germany, as well as separating the jews into collectively known as the others, where they cease to be considered humans anymore and was the main reason why many nazis had no real problems with committing horrendous crimes against the jews as well as non pure or affiliated Germans, simple because they were no longer Germans in which case they were no longer pure and so finally they are no longer humans (which is ironic how the Germans were more than happy to ally with the Japanese but hey ho tit for tat) but going back to the main topic, as time passed where jews were being alienated more and more so by society such as wearing the infamous star badge which not only gave people a physical enemy but also a target to direct their hatred onto someone because someone else told them to, again people forget that people have done exactly the same thing or even worse not so long ago, we would have been throwing chopped up body parts over a castle wall, massacre an entire civilization, enslaved an entire nation ect ect humans or people are more than capable of committing horrific acts where during the time of the Vikings they use to perform an execution known as the eagle and to not make this into a PG comment go look it up yourself it is brutal. And again im not saying that we should sympathize with them.
    ABSOLUTELY NOT
They chose to do those things regardless of who told them and they deserve to burn In hell for it. But im just saying that history isn’t as clear and as cut as we like to make things out to be where, Germans are tue baddies the end when in reality many Germans joined the war for many reasons
    Free holiday plans
    National pride
    Was forced into it
    Born into it
    Fought for the nazi cause
Wanting to protect their loved ones from say the Russian menace.
Revenge for a US bomber which killed their parents and brothers who worked at a local factory ect ect

      @rayceofhistory  2 роки тому +2

I don’t agree with either of those acts, but let’s be honest. Slaves were around for thousands of years before America and the Japanese camps weren’t even close to a real WW2 concentration camp. So yeah sure, both were bad, and with no context people may even think they are uniquely bad, but that’s absolutely not true.

@@rayceofhistory I don't want to play down anything here, what Germany did back then is undoubtedly unforgivable and repulsive.
But one thing is always very important to me before you look critically at the history of another country you should know that of your own country.
During World War II, the United States forcibly relocated and incarcerated about 120,000 people of Japanese ancestry, most of whom lived on the Pacific Coast, in concentration camps in the western interior of the country. Approximately two-thirds of the internales were United States citizens. These actions were initiated by President Franklin D. Roosevelt via executive order shortly after Imperial Japan's attack on Pearl Harbor.
Look for pictures it was one and the same only the Americans noticed early enough what was happening in Europe and quickly swept it under the carpet....
And as for slavery, really now? You can't defend that no matter what time it happened.

@@dominikhanel9511 the US has done plenty of things I disagree with, they do things now I disagree with. But history is graded with context of the time, act, degree, everything. And even without that context, it seems extremely bizarre to me that the argument here is “but the US has done bad stuff too” when specifically talking about what most consider one of the worst atrocities in human history. Slavery was terrible, it’s a bad mark on US history. But was the US unique in having slavery? Not even close. The west in general was much more unique historically for there being a moral argument against it, as it was seen as totally legitimate in almost every area of the globe in every time period going back to the beginning of recorded human history, and even in large parts of the world after it was outlawed in the US. Were the internment camps wrong? Again, yes. But were they the same thing as the German concentration camps? Were Japanese people systematically removed from society, worked to death en masse, and apart of a genocide to the point that their population was a fraction its size when the war was over? But even if they are all atrocities of the same scale, can nobody at all talk about how terrible this was because their country too has done something in the past that goes against modern enlightened society? Does everyone have to atone for their country’s past sins before being allowed to condemn a genocide? I’m totally confused on what exactly you’re getting at. I don’t normally preface talking about genocide with “remember other countries have done bad things too”.

@@dominikhanel9511 Lets say i dont know my countrys history, does that mean i cant criticize what happend during WW2? No.
And i dont want to repeat what he said, but he never defended slavery. But it was also bigger in some other countries a long time before US existed.
We cant forget that it was the Spanish Conquistadors that exterminated humans from a whole contintent and brought slavery there.

Dude you need to get your story straight maybe need to learn something called world history. And not what someone else tells you was supposedly history really is. If you want to know about all the death camps and all the concentration camps and everything else Google it.
