Seeing such a strong player as Eric hang his queen like that in the third game makes me feel alot better about my own chess 😂 Really like that you upload these longer videos on this channel, I rarely get to see you stream cuz of work and life getting in the way
At 49.02, EulerscbeCerades clock is at 24s, and Erics clock is at 7.7s, and a time scramble starts..... Erics clock continually drops to 0 seconds, but te opponents clock finises wit 42 seconds!! WTActualF??
Yea, berserking in increment tournaments is a much bigger disadvantage since you not only give up half your time but you also lose the increment. I played the entire 24hrs of this tournament and managed to score wins against 2 FMs due to this. And I honestly think it makes sense since strong players can easily play forever on the increment alone so berserking would not be much of a disadvantage at all.
It's a shame that berserking doesn't half your increment too, so that 3|2 would be 1.5|1. Eric could have won that game against EulerscheGerade that way.
Lately, Eric is hanging lots of stuff. I'd like to think it's because he fell in love, and he's living an inebriating autumn romance
Her: Breaks up with Eric
Eric: "Oh no, my queen"
Don’t worry, if he blunders a queen, he’ll get a king.
Games 1 and 3 are illustrative of why one should be very wary to berserk when playing games with increment.
Exactly
Another example, sadly :
43:07
Almost this one too :
56:09
Gane 3 wasnt due to berserk tho. It was literally a 100 elo blunder
5:11 I'd love to see the phonetic spelling of the noise made here
Ouuuueioiuouiouweuoiue
5:11 I have never seen Eric this surprised.
I legitimately expected that to be a checkmate tactic I missed. I'm too used to "Oh no my...."
"OOOeeooeeooeeoo..."

Thank you for the stream Eric, cool to watch you play such tournaments. 🙏
7:52 queen trapped with c7?
I feel like Eric played the rating not the board and went for mate asap
Yeah he mentions it a few moves later
You could ask Methodman and redman about the available ‘heights’ of the How high competition🧛♂️
I only saw the first 4 games 😀
well done 😀
22:28 is hilarious 😂
50:35. Why is your opponent getting increment and you’re not?
He says at the start of the stream that when you berserk in an increment game then you lose the increment.
@@NWRIBronco6 ahh I may or may not have skipped to the games
You Joined This Chess Tournament 23 HOURS LATE? How high can You finish?

If he beserked he loses increment
