This Zombies gameplay was captured on PC at Call of Duty Next.
4 years and 4000 devs for this. We just want to spawn in a creepy map with a pistol and have a pack punch hidden. Fuck it maybe we should develop the game out selves

Go take a look at Terminus Island if you want a creepy map. This is the 2nd map for the game and is designed for more casual play. Man, do you guys ever research anything?

The people who keep telling others to just "enjoy it" are like brainwashed zombies at this point. Anyone with even a little taste and a working brain can see this poor attempt at reviving what the franchise used to be. They’ve completely lost that original essence. Honestly, I’m kind of relieved because this company has gone downhill fast. The fans are out here making better mods than the so called pros at these AAA studios who are supposed to be cranking out quality games.

lol just tried the beta, this new movement system is A$$. What exactly is the purpose of this, and is it really necessary? Attempted like over 30 tries just to get a shot done with the movement system in tutorial. Can’t wait till my zombies come out. Maybe a dark map will come out soon. Only time will tell

This map feels like a standard multiplayer map, whereas in Origins, every element of the level design was crafted with a deep sense of purpose and intention.

Basically Cold war Zombies ugh. Thought it would be like Black ops 1-3 zombies
It just isn’t the same. Even down to the atmosphere, comparing this to the very first zombies map in WaW is quite literally night and day. It’s insane how they took the chilling and downright unsettling atmospheres of the original maps (from WaW to BO2) and slowly tarnished their legacy. This doesn’t even feel like a zombies experience anymore it just feels lazy.
Look up Terminus Island gameplay. That’s the main map.
This is not beta gameplay, stop misleading people into thinking zombies is in the beta 🙄

Give us the old Zombies, where you needed to open doors to make a progress, when you start of with only a pistol and you have to purchase a gun on the walls, a darker tone and creepy music, we don’t want a stupid mini map on the screen, we want more simple UI and not a life bar for zombies

Of all the zombie movies, there is whats the scariest thing you would take from them to incorporate in the story to make it have that level of fear and nail biting action this map reminds me of the show black summer a lil bit in the day time.

This makes me sad, it doesn't look at all like a black ops zombies.
This looks boring as hell tbh, it still feels to much like war zone, this players is clearly a noob, hits the box way too hard many times, doesn’t know how to use the ray gun, uses goblegum machine and doesn’t even look at what he gets, it also sad that they essentially used reskinned spiders form bo3 as boss rounds they use the exact same sound files.
Watching this in 3rd person mode is jarring af for me.
Cod had one more chance to impress me, they failed.

Making your own HUD by moving things around doesn't change the fact that it's missing that zombies feel. It lacks personality from games like BO1-BO3, hell even BO4 with its messy HUD had some charm to it. This just feels more like Warzone/MP. @@ahmadrunningwild85

COD GHOSTS had my favorite version of zombies, Extinction. That was perfect imo. Wasn’t a fan of round based zombies, but seeing this actually looks interesting

All optional. Third person is an optional setting and so are health bars, damage numbers, etc.
You can look at the Terminus Island gameplay posted by the developers to see what no HUD can look like.

For me, its the lighting, Its not somewhat dark or nightmarish to fit zombies, Cold war did that with most of the maps (*Cough Rokua *cough*) Here, it looks like a reskin multiplayer with some assets slapped on top.

The problem with modern Call of Duty : The maps have no soul, no flavour. This could have been a multiplayer map or a part of the Warzone map, there would be no difference🤷♂️ It could even be in another game, it's boring and generic as fuck😂

Just some context of the map:
It’s a bonus map and while yes it doesn’t look like a zombies map, it’s also the first bonus map to include a legit Easter egg. The third person gameplay and bad hud which can all be changed is one of the reasons why people have disliked this gameplay. This is actually an alright bonus map. Gameplay meant for noobs. Story meant for fans.

Sometimes simpler is better in my opinions wish they just brought it back to basics, the roots with some quality of life improvements and maybe throw in some new stuff tastefully
