    I am no trapper! I have spent a lot of time in the mountains at all seasons. Wolves are very smart, but like most animals, they will follow an easier route if they can. Most of your snares are not on a “path” as indicated by tracks in the snow. Wouldn’t you be more successful if a couple snares were moved over to the well used ingress/egress trails that have lots of tracks?
