I'm an Afghan- Norwegian and flew for KamAir as pilot 2 years. I want to thank you for your beautiful video and a review of KamAir. Letting the world know that it is all propaganda. KamAir is a well organized airline with a very professional management behind it. KamAir strictly follow their maintenance routine and making sure their fleets are airworthy by all means. Once again, thank you so much!
I believe that the airline itself may b organized and their planes are maintained wit competent pilots. My concern would b security beings as tho there is still heavy conflict between Isis and the taliban as well as anti taliban rebels. I don't think it would b that difficult for any of these groups, especially Isis to initiate some sort of attack on a Kam air flight.
Everything about this video is beautiful! the country, the people, the look of peace, the respect they seem to have for you, and you never looked scared. Amazing.
I visited Afghanistan in 1972 as a 12 year old. We were doing the overland trip from London to Kathmandu with my family. I totally agree with you about Afghanistan and the Afghan people. We broke down in the middle of the desert on the trip between Kandahar and Kabul....in the middle of knowhere...The Afghan Nomads rode up to us on camels...we had breakfast with them...They erected blackpig skin tent over the motor to cool the engine while we had food with them. We gave them some Aussie things we had and they were very friendly. They could have robbed and killed us. They were family people just like us and had no interest in hurting us. Bon Voyage to you;-))
NO, Jane, you wrong. This is very true that women don't work in Afghanistan. Today, only a small number of women who are exempted work in Afghanistan; otherwise, most women don't. Women can't work, can't go to school or university, can't travel alone, and can't engage in most businesses. So please, be careful while saying that this is not true because you might indirectly somehow present a humane and progressed picture of T-ban while we not that they a terrorist, savage, brutal and barbaric group. And remember to put and articulate your words very carefully because generally speaking, women are banned, disappeared and wiped out; yes, there are exceptions like this women working in the airport, and that too because it is exempted.
Its wonderful to see that you're still willing to and traveling to Afghanistan, and hopefully dispelling the stereotypes of this country that I'm sure most people in the world have of Afghanistan and it's people...keep doing what you're doing..and may God bless and keep you safe in your travels.
Thats one of the problems where you get to hear a lot of negative stuff even though the whole experience would be positive but im really proud that you went solo travelling and this is the first time i came to your channel actually and its pretty informative and your voice is really amazing keep up the good work stay safe and healthy
There is almost no greenery or trees in sight. Even the interior of buildings looks so dark and drab. I wish happiness to the people there. The country may feel safe to you but women are still living under oppression there which breaks my heart. I understand the headdress is by choice for many of them; I am referring to the law that makes it illegal for women to be in public alone.
@@Abid-ali_AFG Please don’t blame the natural vegetation of the region on “American bullets”. That doesn’t even make sense. Afghanistan is in a geographical region that has an arid climate. It’s natural that countries in this region have less trees and greenery. Particularly in the flat areas.
Women move around freely in Afghanistan, they are not stuck in their homes. They work, shop and eat at food places. Stop believing the propaganda already!

The country of Afghanistan may be beautiful but there are radical people there who kidnap and kill for political reasons and hateful reasons. However, I admire your freedom and fearless nature 😃
As an ex KamAir pilot I can assure you that they are not dangerous at all. KamAir follows routine maintenance and making sure their fleet are airworthy by all means. If not, I don’t think countries like Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Turkey etc would allow them to operate in their countries. I’m in a country right now that has a “do not travel” warning and had to deal with hearing military drones looking for areas to strike the whole night. Sure it’s safe most of the time…doesn’t mean it’s safe enough for there to be no warning.
Like Iraq but it’s still unsafe in many ways. The warning needs to exist to warn people (eg don’t go out in certain areas at night to avoid getting shot at by military drones - Turkish and Iranian ones btw not American).
Book the big front seat 💺on Spirit or a emergency exit row for more leg room. Also keep in mind Spirit airlines is the second most profitable airline in the world 🌎 in terms of profit not gross and have the newest fleet of aircraft 8 years and younger in the industry. Just because you saw one woman working that doesn’t mean anything, of course people say that in Afghanistan women are treated like objects because they really are. And I can assure you that if that women was working at the airport its because they dont have any other men able to carry on her job, but when they find a men that can do that she will just be dismissed and sent home. That’s unfortunately what happens there, a 21st country ruled by 12th century people.
Also just to say to everyone that as seeing in this video that Kam Air has quite a fleet of aircraft as seeing an Airbus A-340 which costs around 300million to own and 20 million to operate per hour🙌🙌
