Welcome to Mozambique 🇲🇿 hope you have a great stay
Welcome to my country,stay safe,enyoy
I met a few people from Mozambique, while in Lisbon. They were super nice, and welcoming! The men, lovely. Hehe! When I go back, I was told, they’ll take me to have Mozambican food, in Lisbon.
Mozambique is a beautiful country I have never been there but from what I can see the country looks like prosperous and stable. Thank you Sly for this great video 👍🌹🌹
Indeed
Unfortunately it's not prosper and stable.
welcome to my country man Enjoy 🇲🇿🇲🇿
Thank you for making my country one of your favorite places to be. You are always welcome here, cheers.
Welcome to Mozambique Man. Please don't forget to eat Frango a Zambeziana and our lovely seafood!
Bem vindo and enjoy your Stay
I miss Moz food brother. My mother's family is from Matola and I live in South Africa
@@RastaAfricanGentleman you should take a trip and come to eat the food and appreciate the coast
@@jeanmugisha4175 Every year without a doubt I visit. I also take New Years picnics in Ponta do Ouro.
It reminds me of Buenos Aires. Hey, can start including a bit of entry requirements in these videos? Thanks.
Indeed
great vlog today Mozambique is a most visit for me 👊🏿👊🏿👊🏿
Mozambique! Yes my brother. Be well!
It's sounds like you were describing the locally made rice. I don't eat Nigerian made rice either, because they're riddled with stones. India is the one country that has perfected the production of rice, more than any country in the world
Have fun and welcome to Maputo ❤
In Northeast Brazil you can even eat a similar dish called "Vatapá"!
A lot of people from Mozambique 🇲🇿 was sent to Brazil as slaves
It's "matapa"
Great content. Easy drive to Johannesburg and Durbin
Thank you, sir
mostre varios videos desse pais ,tenho vontade de um dia ir la
Venha e um ótimo país e barato
Thanks for your video! I’m finishing up my bachelor’s degree and I plan to move to Mozambique as soon as I graduate.
I just subscribed to your channel 👍🏽 from Djibouti 🇩🇯

Welcome to Mozambique 🇲🇿❤
Nice video
❤ watching from cape Town south Africa
Nice 👍🏾
The local language in Maputsu(Maputo) is Tsonga/Shangaan same as in SA but different accent and dialect. Unfortunately Portuguese let the language die on purpose by banning the locals from speaking it, hence new generations can't speak Shangaan in Maputo.
That is sad to see indigenous languages dying. I hope locals promote their native languages
Nah actually it's not dead we the locals speak it among ourselves but yes Portuguese is the main language
You should have tried the take away joints in Maputo shopping centre
lol@sweaty city. You know you love the heat @sly's Life. Enjoy it.
I think it reminds you of Rio, bro! Greetings from Russia, hope you come here maybe.
Now wtf would a black man go to Russia when Russians are anti black ?
Some people from Mozambique were taken to USA in the 1700-1800s, but they sadly since it was such a long boat ride, most ppl died on the ship, however some African Americans have Mozambique ancestors
Most of enslaved people in Mozambique were taken to Brazil since both countries were former colonies of Portugal
@@neverlookback1244 yes some were also taken to USA as well. For some reason, ppl on the continent don’t believe that ppl from Mozambique, Madagascar, Angola and Congo were taken to USA. Not sure why they believe the slave traders were 100% truthful in where they took ppl.
Example. Portuguese told ppl they were taking a ship full of Angolans to Mexico in 1619, but they ended up in Virginia, so now when African Americans tell Angolans, hey our ancestors were from there, they get told, no Portugal took people to Mexico and Brazil, not USA. Stop believing slave traders
@@Justafox305 I started my sentence with most I agree with you some ended up in North America
@@neverlookback1244 ❤️
@@Justafox305the problem is that its hard to believe black Americans because they lie, a lot.
julius nyerere street and u walked right pass....lol Man our minds are so white
I have just come back to Kampala Uganda, from Maputo Mozambique, where I was for a month. There two different exchange rates, the official one and the black market one. Crosscheck and see.. Watching and following from Kampala Uganda East Africa
8:37 very delicious, always incorporate the greens guys. Cleanses out the body.
Mate can you make your videos longer please at 20-30 minutes . We really enjoy your videos
Niice

Welcome to mozambique 🇲🇿
What is you fav. rice? Basmati?
Your eyes are beautiful 😍
Visiting Maputo sounds great! Can you get around town speaking english?
Nah I definitely aint upping the spice level on food when its that hot out XD
Hi bro,nace place
Cartagena, Colombia?.. I was looking through your videos and it jumped out.
The two hundred meticais note is green and looks like the American dollars. If you mix them up, you will be trouble. But whilst purchasing items in Maputo, i was corrected when ever i mistakenly overpaid, which is good about the maputo people
Incorrect the 200 note is blue and the 1k is green . Be very careful and read the number before u pay
Please come to Eswatini south of the border Bro!
hmmm wild guess Ecuador?
Well that makes sense since Bahia Brazil is a coastal area Portuguese colony and the slaves brought to the Bahian coast were Bantu central african slaves and Mozambique is also a bantu tribal costal country colonized by the Portuguese so both places are very similar.
Drying clothes on balconies may look "favela-ish" as you say, but surely in this "net zero" time it is something that should be encouraged and it should be illegal to forbid it!
Mozambique 🇲🇿
We don't have Uber but we have Yango wich works the same way as Uber
Was about to cross off my list from viewing other vlogs of corruption….. still confused. Should I visit or not.
Does Maputo remind you of Salvador, Bahia?
Looks like Brasil Rio de janeiro?
Where you able to use credit cards and withdrawal money from atms while in Maputo?
Yes we have atms
And as Africans, we found it strange to be charged UsD 100 each as VIZA payments (VIZA on arrival)
There is a Cholera outbreak in a neibouring country I shall not mention by name just make sure you wash fruit really hard.
Yes 75 people dead already in that country
@@RastaAfricanGentleman you have an amazing ability to code and decode.
@@dashaus. 😅😅😅🙏
Great video. 95 degree 😂😂
The other strange thing i found in maputo is that people there ask for TIPs, after you purchase or buy something. I thought it is surposed to be VOLUNTARILY PAID
Oh honey you can say no entendo and walk away. It's because you're a tourist. I've never once been asked to pay tips . Mozambicans barely know what that is😂
How are you doing
Is it expensive there give us some information guys..?? Ranting!!
Brazil? That is because some of the people here were taken to Brazil. Same as Angola.
😂😂hot as a mf big solar energy

They charged you 60 meticais for those bananas !??
It's because they heard you speak English my boy 😂
I pay 20mt max for those bananas
This is a proper city not Eritrean 🇪🇷 Asmara, I was depressed to see that city it’s vibe is like dead man’s hole.
You look like locals 100% trust me.
Don't speak English in there or they will take advantage of u if they hear the accent 😢
That's not true! We treat with hospitality and fairly, Specially visitors.
@@zenaldomumba1291 mentira irmão, sou moçambicana, eu sei como vários moçambicanos se aproveitam de turistas . Muitos até aumentam preços nas suas bancas quando vêm uma pessoa branca ou americana, because they know the currency exchange won't make a big difference to them. But to me it's about the lack of honesty that is disgusting to see among our brothers and sisters for the sake of wanting money.💲😓
very soon muslim inşaallah
Hi bro The trees 0:29 OMG that is native for my country .How they have that!!!
