- First time taking the ZR1 out to do some pulls! You might remember Gustavo's mk5 when we raced in the GTR we pretty much tied when his trans was slipping lol he's on a built trans now
Mk5 mods - Pure700/meth/built trans/e85/ nitrous (wasn’t used)
Zr1 mods - Fbo cam E85

Them new supras different. After all them runs with the gtr she still held her ground. The aluminum block was a perfect choice, great heat conductor more runs without lost of performance. Never cared it shared bmws power train. Honestly that was the best choice they could of made. Bmws makes some of the fastest engines in the automotive industry hands down. On top of toyota reliability, you can't beat that. They did a great job with this car.
Plus that engine is also proven cuz its also used in two FD MK5 supras
I had a gr Supra and it sure doesn't have Toyotas reliability. There are a few gr Supra owners needing engine replacement due to oil consumptions also. It's a good car but does not have Toyotas reliability.

I hope yk that on the ZR-1 they have a feature called no lift shift. As long as your wide open throttle, you don't take your foot off the gas. Press the clutch as usual to roll through gears, but don't let off the gas.
