Mangka dance college Kwakta Lamjel

Mangka Mayanglambam of Laihui sings and dances the "Kwakta Lamjel" (race at Kwakta) in the Moirang Sai performance style. The song is taken from the epic story song of the Meitei of Manipur known as the "Khamba Thoibi" (the 600 to 700 year old tales of the hero Khamba and heroine Thoibi). This was recorded at a recital at the Dance College of Imphal, (Govindajee Nartalaya Dance College and Government Music College of Imphal) March 2014).
