I purchased the Osmo 4 gimbal this week, and have been experimenting with it. So far it’s been great. One of the things I wanted to use it for was to film myself using tracking, in the kitchen for example while cooking, with the gimbal on a tripod. It tracks me perfectly, but it’s got an annoying tendency to bob up and down if I step back or forward slightly which leads to the footage being very jumpy, and it’s super distracting. Is there a way to avoid or negate this?

Is it because you can't guarantee the case is built well enough to adhere to the ring, or is it because the gap between the phone and the ring holder causes the center of gravity to change too much? Please make sure that the magnetic phone clip, magnetic ring are attached to the corresponding marks on the motor, practice the correct installation and usage given on the user manual or DJI tutorials. Note: There is no magnetic attraction in other directions, please stick to the official instructions.
I just purchased the om4 and I was watching a the mobile motion dji om4 tutorial video and I noticed he had a sport mode setting on the DJI MiMO app. When playing around with the settings I noticed I don’t have the sport mode setting on my app

I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max with Face ID. It helps to start the gimbal in portrait mode so that I can unlock the phone before rotating it to landscape.

Most film equipment like this has a screw at the bottom to attach to plate and then slide the plate into a any tripod.

Honestly the bond to the case might not be strong enough or when you need a new case you can’t reuse the ring due to the adhesive

What about iPhone 12 Pro and pro max? The curved grip holder is not suitable for these phones, as there are chances to slip off.
