FTISLAND is one of the best Bands for me. You could start with watching the killing voice this is always a good introduction to the music of a new group.
Lee Hong Ki main vocalist, Jaejin bass and vocals, Minhwan drums and vocals, they did a song last yea in November, Sage. They have been active except for military service. They produce and write music and lyrics too.
They're a band that's been active in Korea and Japan for 17 years so yes, they've been around for a while. Their Korean discographies in the early years made them famous but weren't exactly the kind of music they wanted to play. If you like this MV, definitely check out the rest of their album "Serious", their 2023 mini album "Sage", and their discographies from 2013-2019, especially the Japanese ones. Heck, check out everything dating back to their debut if you don't mind. I think they have 400+ songs to their name by now.
Jaejin (the bassist) is a great singer. If he debuted in a different band he would definitly be the main vocalist but FT Island has Lee Hongki, a phenomenal singer 😅 So hejust sings a few lines in most of their songs. FT Island released at least a mini album every year except the military era since their debut. They've been very active. However, they don't go music shows anymore (since 2018?). They prefer to go other shows or music festivals more than the music shows.
Ohh I kinda wish he would sing more but I also understand why Hongki sings the most 😅 Sounds good, it feels like they fit better at festivals actually 👌
They are amazing ! You should definitely check out more of their songs ;) Also, this song is way too short ! It's actually a prerelease to their new album that came out just yesterday so there is another mv (Serious) to check out :p
