Just gonna say the beginner pull he did which got Iori and Hina also came with the two star Tsubaki, who is arguably the best tank in the game. Rolling for Iroha, on the banner, will also make story a lot easier as well as her being a good nuke for pvp.
Agree on Iroha, I've brought her all the way to Rank 1. Really good counter against tanks especially with resurgence of Yuuka tanks. Not to mention being bread and butter (alongside newly released Ibuki) in some Raids like Peroro. As for Tsubaki, Tsubaki is extremely good in early game and and early/lower rank pvp because of her evasion and taunt mechanic separating casual from novice pvp players, although she is easily countered nowadays by S. Shiroko, Iori and the aforementioned Iroha in Upper ranks (she melts really fast) but still good if you don't have Marina yet.

As arknight player who recently playing blue archives my first impression is the game (BA) is very f2p friendly. As new player the story here in Blue Archive is better because most of the stages you can clear it with characters that have been provided in the story. But the gacha is weird, i've got makoto in dress ako banner and got dress ako in makoto banner. I did 200 pulls and finally spark for iroha. Good luck guys, even though i didn't get many 3 star, only 7 i think. But the gacha is pretty good❤❤
Its one banner, you are picking where you want to put more weight for RNG, ive had it happen 3 times on banners now (only played for a little while so not rolled too much yet) that the other rate up showed up while pulling for the selected rate up. Consider it a boon ;)

I tried making a new account just now. 1 thing rerollers need to know, you cannot claim rewards from Emergency Report web event if you have a Guest account. You need to bind it to a proper account (Nexon ID, Gmail, etc.). You get 1 10 pull ticket from this event. Started on tutorial pull, I got Hoshino and Hasuna. Other rolls were just bad... burger girl, Hifumi, Tsurugi, etc. Using the free 100 pulls, I managed to pull Iroha and Wakamo (Swimsuit) on Iroha banner. Tried pulling for Dress Ako, but I got Makoto on the banner instead. Also spooked Mimori. In the end I couldn't get Dress Ako at all. Saving the rest of the free tickets and pyros for 6% banner tomorrow.

I think hibiki (or any character that can buff your characters as a special class) would be better than a striker if you had to choose between the 2. That way, any characters you get afterwards still get the benefit of the buffs
nah she isn't. 7 cost EX that isn't even all that strong. And there isnt perfect content for either. Best case is like Kaiten, but frankly she is still heavy armor so at best useful during stage 1. Useless in pvp due to 7 cost EX ... she isnt useless - but plenty of competition for what she does. On bright side Swimsuit Hina is much better and Dress Hina is OP as hell.
7 skill cost, which means you need to wait for a long time to generate her EX skill. You need cost reduction units like Ui to cut her skill cost from 7 -> 4 to be a bit manageable.
Back then I kept rerolling until I get both Iori and Hibiki. But if you can only choose one, Iori is the better one. She carried me until stage 24 and still useful against purple armored enemies.
Those 100 free pulls unfortunately are only for D.Ako, Makoto and Iroha banners so better use them all before fest banners (D.Hina & S.Hoshino) come in 👌🏻

Reasons you'd reroll are if your account is bricked, have a favorite unit, or want the best possible units or account to progress content fast and easy + be more wise on investing in characters Yea, it's pretty pointless to abandon an account you've spent a lot of time on; rerolling usually occurs if you've never played [X] game

Had to spark her but got ako in the process. Based on videos that I saw, those characters are giga starter pack for newbies thank God

There are support units that has skills to reduce EX cost like Ui and Fuuka (New Year). Another way is fast cost regeneration, which can be provided by Cherino, Shiroko (Swimsuit), Himari, and Hoshino (Swimsuit) which banner is coming out next.
I think always go with unit that is damage dealer / tank / healer where extra stats matter. Which will be Makoto , Aru Dress is just there to cast her EX - her damage is irrelevant and she is tanky by default. As it always is with supports better to have 3 star Ako / Himari and UE50 Mika than UE50 Ako and 3 star Mika .
Makoto EX aren't very good on general stage due to it being "more enemies = more damage" your general contents not gonna have enough enemies for her to be fully effective. She is a specialize secondary dps unit meant to clear mobs. Going 4+ stars or UE aren't gonna help much because she's not meant to deal with tanky unit from the start. Ako dress is a buffer so 3 stars is enough. The only reason to go further is to make her tankier so she could last longer. Not the worst reason to do so but not the best idea either, because unless you got some bricked up dps units (borrowed or otherwise) your D.Ako won't gonna do anything if your DPS died first anyway. Only Iroha is worth it to go further than 3 stars in these 3 banners, because she is a main DPS unit (not to mention that shes among the best character in this game). The other 2 are just min/maxing. Makoto easily. Iroha can come ANY time from any banner. Makoto is limited. Iroha is good , but so is Makoto for yellow content. Always when in question non limited vs limited go with limited . Unless Limited is absolute trash and non limited is GIGA OP. I know hitting 'off banner' is not that easy . But still can be done, you cannot hit Makoto off banner that is for sure.
If you care about the meta, spark for iroha cause she's good in many content specially in early game content. But makoto is limited so better choose wisely. Me myself i went to spark for iroha

The best student to "reroll" for is easily Shun, because it's not possible to obtain her anywhere except the gacha and because she is, and probably will be for a very long time, a PvP staple. All other students available in the initial 10-pull, including Iori, do see use here and there, but only one that is absolutely unreplaceable, even for veterans, is Shun. No one needs to fight for top 100, but the PvP rewards do stack up over time.
Just got makoto, d.ako, iroha and Noa from the free 100 pulls and the three 10 pull tickets I've been hoarding (130 pulls in total). I started around the last week of himari's banner, so I'm still lost on who to build first? 😅
Build AOE units to make your life easier doing the campaigns. For tanks, build Tsubaki and Yuuka. Healer build Serina. But if you need a second healer for a second team, maybe build Ayane, until you get another better healer. For red team build Mutsuki and Akari, Yellow team Nonomi and Momoi, and for blue team Chise. There are other units too but depending on what you have in the roster.

Blue archive gacha system is atrocious, but the generous freebies and 200 spark ceiling kinda offsets it.

Makoto easily. Iroha can come ANY time from any banner. Makoto is limited. Iroha is good , but so is Makoto for yellow content.
Always when in question non limited vs limited go with limited . Unless Limited is absolute trash and non limited is GIGA OP.
I know hitting 'off banner' is not that easy . But still can be done, you cannot hit Makoto off banner that is for sure.
If you care about the meta, spark for iroha cause she's good in many content specially in early game content. But makoto is limited so better choose wisely. Me myself i went to spark for iroha

The best student to "reroll" for is easily Shun, because it's not possible to obtain her anywhere except the gacha and because she is, and probably will be for a very long time, a PvP staple. All other students available in the initial 10-pull, including Iori, do see use here and there, but only one that is absolutely unreplaceable, even for veterans, is Shun. No one needs to fight for top 100, but the PvP rewards do stack up over time.

Just got makoto, d.ako, iroha and Noa from the free 100 pulls and the three 10 pull tickets I've been hoarding (130 pulls in total).
I started around the last week of himari's banner, so I'm still lost on who to build first? 😅
Build AOE units to make your life easier doing the campaigns. For tanks, build Tsubaki and Yuuka. Healer build Serina. But if you need a second healer for a second team, maybe build Ayane, until you get another better healer. For red team build Mutsuki and Akari, Yellow team Nonomi and Momoi, and for blue team Chise. There are other units too but depending on what you have in the roster.
