Even before Malaysia got her name, the Chetti communities was already thriving in the golden ages of the Malacca Sultanate. Born of Hindu faith and raised with Malay and Chinese cultural practices, Amu Pilay proudly identifies herself as a Malaysian - but fears that she might be the last of her kind in a community that is slowly fading away with time.
