Working at Chrysalis Records in L.A., I was lucky to meet Midge Ure. What a wonderful human being as evidenced by his words and music.
Indeed I have met him too and he is no arrogant Star - just like you and me :)) although I have thought I would stand in front of the God - he just smiled about and tomorrow I am gonna see him again...!!
I never met him (I'd like to because I liked his songs from my teenage) ...A great artist and his song from a while ago is still more as to the point today... sometimes I'm asking myself:"what are we, humans.. 'civilization' ... doing besides messing up in our selfish ego-world...". Nevertheless, I still believe there is someone out there....

My father traveled to the UK in 1988 and brought the LP record itself, we played it days on end, it was his favorite song
Today, my Dad passed in 2007 but l have saved it his playlist because this was his favorite song and l love it so much. Today is July 13, 2024, I’m still rocking to it. This song is a masterpiece, it never gets old, especially the lyrics….peace in a restless world. We really need it!
