There was a leak on a figure box i think? I don't know how legit it is but it very much looks like the TF reboot style. G1 with some very very minor bayverse inspiration it looks.
Test screening leaks also mentioned Transit taunting Prime with a hologram of Autobot prisoners being executed while claiming in vain that Prime would save them. That may have also contributed to the “too dark” complaints from the screening, so I can understand that being cut. Still, I do wish they at least finished the fight scene we actually got, maybe including it right after the Maximal planet destruction scene and before we meet Noah. It really would’ve given viewers a better understanding of Prime’s broken demeanour in the rest of the film and why he so badly just wants to get his team back off Earth.
Was the test screening complete footage? Or just some animatics in place of some scenes? Since I'd love to see the horrors of the deceptions more since the bayverse didn't make them as tyrannical as they were told to be.
And also the scene could be added back to show that the decepticons are looking for the autobots, not like attacking earth with an army but at least searching and it could be played off as the deceptions searching hundreds of planets on by one

Personally, I would’ve kept the final opening in the film while also still showing the Transit scene and the only change I would’ve made to the Transit scene is having bumblebee help out a bit. Here’s hoping they can bring back Transit in a future film if not the next film.
With the usage of the featurette, Transit has technically got his moment to shine, maybe we could see him appearing in TF One animated film, heck even the Transformers Reactivate game as well!!!
I would like to say that the opening scene on the maximal homework’s and the transit scene should’ve BOTH been in the movie. I mean, we get our introduction to Optimus when he finds the key and immediately goes after it guns a blazing and we get nothing about his character until bumblebee dies. Let’s say, after the opening scene, instead of going straight to Noah, we could this Optimus fight, or even after Noah. I don’t think the movie actually established the auto bots well, after like 15-20 minutes you get it, but this scene would’ve set up Optimus frustration and motivation throughout the film and would’ve made bees death feel even more of a loss. Idk if they could’ve squeezed it in there, but I wish they did
the deleted scenes made me understand more why this film let me down. I was freaking hyped about it but when i saw it was the same soup as the others. In a few words: they had years to make this film but still rushed it at the end showing the exact same plot we've seen from all other films except Bumblebee. -The CGI in the film looks awful because it was clearly rushed and the unfinished deleted scenes confirm that. You can clearly distinct what is CGI and what is not, a thing that in the 2007 movie is still difficult to catch. Plenty of mistakes on the robot forms (like Scourge at the beginning already having an Earth form or the badges on his arms vanishing. Optimus Prime museum fast transformation was BAD, the red cab parts go behind his blue legs vanishing wtf...) -The plot is just lame and too fast, already seen in all previous 5 movies: there's an artifact "bad guys" want to do bad things with, the "good guys" are in trouble but they manage to win with the help of humans. "bad guys" all die and the world is safe again. -I still don't get how the most armored and strong Transformers in the saga that Autubots couldn't even touch died like dumb drones at the end. Scourge death was just nosense. -They killed Airazor wich was the Maximal with most screen time (she didn't even transform) and relevance so people empathized with her also cause she's a people favourite since the original Beast Wars yet they killed her. Apelinq was the most powerfull Maximal warrior and they didn't even make him fight a bit against Scourge even if they obviously need to show Scourge's strenght. -How can be Transit death so dark when you brutally kill Apelinq at the start, crush Airazor and tear Terrorcons to pieces afterwards? Is this a bad excuse to delete an entire faction Autobots could even ally too to defeat Unicron and Terrorcons? -Wheeljack is just useless in the film and that just is a worse point for the new design they made for him. -The new arm cannons make no sense at all especially for Optimus Prime. I feel they could have still included the deleted scenes and the film would've been far way better. Sorry but for me this film was a missed opportunity. 6,5/10
transit looks so badass and menacing this is why i love the decepticons more than the autobots is cuz the decepticons have a cool insignia and that they look scary and cool ✨
Just this one scene would have made the movie better for me and for the plot. I really wish they finished the scene because It would’ve looked awesome we need an extended cut of the movie !! And wanting a extended cut means they didn’t get it right the first time.
Yeah that's what I'm saying I think the opening was way more informative. And it was just as good if not better cuz you got to see Unicron for the first time. And it sets up the villains perfectly and tell you what you need to know it's going to be about. 100 % agree it was a good call to cut it. You would be putting a scene in that wouldn't necessarily be needed if it's the introduction. Maybe they could have put it somewhere a little bit after but I don't know. You make a convincing point
Why not just change transit into a terrorcon? For example, Inferno from the G1 cartoon was an Autobot. But, in Beast Wars, Inferno was changed into a Predacon. Also, for Transit to change into a terrorcon would make sense since many other Transformers incarnations have shown certain bots change sides.
First hearing about this after barely seeing test footage Wasn’t aware of character in history I enjoyed it would had enjoyed it I do think it may be knocking on door of being dark however Primal bashing in Battletrap’s head in with his maze was dark too. Cgi bots or not. But seeing the scene and rewatching the movie as enjoyable as it would have been, seeing how movie flowed to the bus station scene from start to there I really don’t see anywhere else they could had places this scene to salvage it and make it report main plot of movie without side tracking. Hope we do see him in future again
How to add the Transit scene into the movie: Doing the intro as Revenge of the Fallen did it, the first half being about Scourge/Unicron (in our comparison this would be the Fallen introduction) and then the Transit scene (being similar to the NEST introduction), obviously Prime speech would change or just being in the earth section of the movie or even having some changes to the Maximal's origin scene but it could work if frame differently.
I guess it does makes sense why Transit would be cut from the film. Like you said, Bee did kill Blitzwing, Shatter, and Dropkick. And as a result, the Decepticons don’t know that the Autobots are hiding on Earth. So, Transit showing up wouldn’t make much sense, especially if Optimus has been killing Decepticons and dumping their bodies in the river for years. It honestly is kind of refreshing to get other antagonists that aren’t the Decepticons in a Transformers movie, but I am looking forward to seeing the war continue in future films. I’m still curious as to where exactly Megatron is in this new continuity.
I still think it was a good idea to cut the scene. Though knowing how Studio Series made Thundercaracker and Scrapmetal, 2 that we didn't see in the movies, I think we might be able to get a Studio Series Transit.
After seeing the video, I definitely would have had questions of how the Autobots were found out to be on Earth, as well as why there would be so few Decepticons if this was the case in comparison to if the Faction was just not at Earth because they didn't know. Yes, that does mean that Blitzwing's existing on Earth is a oddity, but I place that more as something the Bumblebee movie should have explained outside of the whole reasoning of "It was a Prequel at first"
Transit could've just been a Decepticon who has been traveling the galaxy to find the Autobots by Megatron's order and report back once he found them. But since he happen stumbled upon Earth and his communication range isn't far enough to reach Cybertron, he couldn't report anything. So he's stuck on Earth. I don't think it would debunk the Bumblebee Movie ending.
Honestly I think it would have worked to open the film with unicron destroying the maximal’s planet, and then the transit scene, and then they go to introducing Noah
Im hoping that because we didnt see him die, he shows up in the next film because i REALLY like transit, i want him to be like barricade in the bay films, becoming a prominent decepticon
Honestly if i was the editor i was would ask if they can still add him but as like a ambush when prime sees the becon and still have the same fight and death. Just making the movie a few minutes longer
I think they could’ve kept the scene of Optimus fighting Transit in the movie but have it happen later on instead of it being the opening scene. I’m not an expert on how a movie should flow from scene to scene but I think it’s possible to fit the scene just before the scene where the beacon gets activated. Like maybe while everyone was waiting for Mirage, Optimus was getting impatient and decided to hunt down a Decepticon in the meantime and then because of this, he wasn’t in perfect condition to fight Scourge later on (since he got shanked by Transit) and that entire experience is kind of a lesson for Optimus. Maybe right after Optimus shoots Transit, the beacon lights up the sky and Optimus leaves Transit there? Or it could happen during Transit’s monologuing as a sort of “well, guess you’re wrong” moment for him lol Again, I’m not an expert on movie-writing so if this idea is flawed then oh well. I’d love to hear other people’s thoughts on it though.
"People already wanted to go home. We didnt need that piece". My dude, was the director high as fuck when he said it? THAT WAS LITERALLY THE FIRST SCEBE OF THE MOVIE!!! PLUS IS WAS A COOL FIGHTING SCENE. HOW THE FUCK WOULDNT SOMEONE WANT THAT SCENE IN THE MOVIE?? It was an amazing scene and clearly the audience back then liked it. It was him who didnt like it. He was unsure of himself and made a bad decision. A decision which actually made the movie much slower and boring in the beginning.
One day I hope we can see Transit taunt Prime by showing hologram of Autobots being killed by Decepticons, and see Prime dump Transit’s body in the Hudson River and see other Decepticon’s corpses. Maybe we could have some cameo’s like Skywarp, Thundercraker, etc. But only time will tell. Edit: I would like to thank Theorymus for giving us content for Transit’s deleted scene. Thank you Theorymus, and I would like for the best of you in the future 🙏
I love this scene but I agree that the opening they used was better for the start of this movie. It explains who the Maximals are and sets up the villain of the movie. But I'm sure that if the original opening was used they would have found another way to explain the origin of the Maximals.
My hopes for a sequel to rotb is that transit is instead an autobot who may of been a terrorcon but left before they went to earth and then went to cybertron to join the autobots then got to escape cybertron and of course scaned a bus
I honestly preffer the Transit scene much better. It shows why Optimus is so dark during the movie. It would have been a good explanation instead of Mirage saying "Optimus feels guilty". Classic exemple of "show DONT tell", in which a a scene that explains Optimus's motives is better that a character telling us (the audience) his motives.
Did you know there is a optimus prime that can transform into a bus (fan made) it's called transformer pinoy and it was released in 2008 you can check it out the video it's kind of cool
Honestly, I would keep the opening Maximal Planet scene, but the next scene would be time skipped to many years later, 1994. All the scenes will go according to the final result, but before Elena activates the Transwarp Key beacon, when I would add in the Transit VS Prime scene.
so do they just not think about property damage or cameras at all? Like some guys see a ripped out light and smashed up busses so they check cctv and see alien robots
Transit is probably the only Decepticons expect megatron that can do a decent fight against prime like bone crusher didn’t even last like 5 minutes on his own😂
Yeah, I had similar thoughts that having Transit would undermine The Bumblebee film, and that realistically if the Decepticons had discovered Earth there would be a full scale invasion. I really hope Transit die appear in a future film.
Just saying, they could’ve kind of kept in the transit fight after the Maximal planet scene, and that scene wasn’t even close to being as dark as scourge
In my opion transit looks more like a terricon than a decpeticon u may say decpeticons in might look like that but when u see bumblebees and rotb they mix g1 with more modern stuff
I think Transit should of stayed, alot of the pre movie launch synopsis from offical sources stressed it would set up WHY Optimus Prime turns so blood thirsty, and adding the scene of Optimus dumping lifeless Con bodies into the river would of further played into their desire to portray Optimus Prime decesending into a darker version of himself. Personally speaking, a retcon of the Bumblebee movie would of been great, Travis Knight's entry wasn't anything special, if Transit's existence could of erased that, the movie would of been much stronger.
We need to see a Megatron soon. I was hoping in the end credits we could see a glimpse of Megatron but we didn't.

Plenty of mistakes on the robot forms (like Scourge at the beginning already having an Earth form or the badges on his arms vanishing. Optimus Prime museum fast transformation was BAD, the red cab parts go behind his blue legs vanishing wtf...)
-The plot is just lame and too fast, already seen in all previous 5 movies: there's an artifact "bad guys" want to do bad things with, the "good guys" are in trouble but they manage to win with the help of humans.
This Was An Amazing Video!
transit looks so badass and menacing this is why i love the decepticons more than the autobots is cuz the decepticons have a cool insignia and that they look scary and cool ✨
Finally new video🎉
You make a convincing point
didn't it sound like Transit said THE WORD when he toppled over while holding optimus above his head?
i didn't hear anything
Why not just change transit into a terrorcon? For example, Inferno from the G1 cartoon was an Autobot. But, in Beast Wars, Inferno was changed into a Predacon. Also, for Transit to change into a terrorcon would make sense since many other Transformers incarnations have shown certain bots change sides.
First hearing about this after barely seeing test footage
Wasn’t aware of character in history
I enjoyed it would had enjoyed it
I do think it may be knocking on door of being dark however Primal bashing in Battletrap’s head in with his maze was dark too.
Hope they bought back him in sequels
I always love the explanation of this youtuber, one of my favorite youtubers!
How to add the Transit scene into the movie:
Doing the intro as Revenge of the Fallen did it, the first half being about Scourge/Unicron (in our comparison this would be the Fallen introduction) and then the Transit scene (being similar to the NEST introduction), obviously Prime speech would change or just being in the earth section of the movie or even having some changes to the Maximal's origin scene but it could work if frame differently.
Maybe the next TF film after the upcoming 2024 TF film will be called “Transformers: Return to Cybertron”
i do really hope we see this guy again, his design is so cool, especially with how much he dwarfs optimus in size
Now that you mention it, I agree
The movie's Rhythm is way better without that scene
*casually waits for astrotrain*
6:04 witch would remind me of moxxies's mother death seen where crimson drowns or dumps those who disobeyed him
Im hoping that because we didnt see him die, he shows up in the next film because i REALLY like transit, i want him to be like barricade in the bay films, becoming a prominent decepticon
I do believe cutting Transit was the Right Choice for this Movie.
John DiMaggio is an underrated transformers VA
Honestly I would like to see a bus former, so not using him as a throwaway enemy might be a good thing.
The scene is interesting, I don't think anyone talk about, in about 2 scene, we can see transit's scrapped head. The yellow eye
Or it could happen during Transit’s monologuing as a sort of “well, guess you’re wrong” moment for him lol
Again, I’m not an expert on movie-writing so if this idea is flawed then oh well. I’d love to hear other people’s thoughts on it though.
Damn
You should do a video on Apelinq being Optimus Primals dad
His Buglike face is so badass
My hopes for a sequel to rotb is that transit is instead an autobot who may of been a terrorcon but left before they went to earth and then went to cybertron to join the autobots then got to escape cybertron and of course scaned a bus
tbh a dark transformers film wouldnt be bad to see
Great video keep up the great work
I honestly preffer the Transit scene much better. It shows why Optimus is so dark during the movie. It would have been a good explanation instead of Mirage saying "Optimus feels guilty". Classic exemple of "show DONT tell", in which a a scene that explains Optimus's motives is better that a character telling us (the audience) his motives.
Did you know there is a optimus prime that can transform into a bus
(fan made) it's called transformer pinoy and it was released in 2008 you can check it out the video it's kind of cool
If I can do my Transformers Franchise I definitely would use Transit in my film.
I like the bay Transformers than this but still i feel the nostalgia of adults growing with this era of Transformer movies
It's sad not to see transit when he has such a cool robot design 😔
We should have had both, maximals first, then after that scene is done, Transit time
Transit is probably the only Decepticons expect megatron that can do a decent fight against prime like bone crusher didn’t even last like 5 minutes on his own😂
Yeah, I had similar thoughts that having Transit would undermine The Bumblebee film, and that realistically if the Decepticons had discovered Earth there would be a full scale invasion. I really hope Transit die appear in a future film.
I think Transit should come back in a sequel as a minor Decepticon antagonist.
I finally saw the movie on DVD.
Just saying, they could’ve kind of kept in the transit fight after the Maximal planet scene, and that scene wasn’t even close to being as dark as scourge
We didn't get to see him on the movie but I already know we might get him on the studio series toys 💯 like they did to bumblebee's Megatron
Well since poor Transit got cut from the movie, hope hasbro might made a toy of the lad, would really want a Decepticon Bus lol
I hope he gets an amazing studio series figure
I kinda wish we got to see scourge hunt down a deception as well.
Might if been interesting to have him kill Transit instead of optimus
In my opion transit looks more like a terricon than a decpeticon u may say decpeticons in might look like that but when u see bumblebees and rotb they mix g1 with more modern stuff
I hope we get a Transit master piece toy version
I think Transit should of stayed, alot of the pre movie launch synopsis from offical sources stressed it would set up WHY Optimus Prime turns so blood thirsty, and adding the scene of Optimus dumping lifeless Con bodies into the river would of further played into their desire to portray Optimus Prime decesending into a darker version of himself.
Personally speaking, a retcon of the Bumblebee movie would of been great, Travis Knight's entry wasn't anything special, if Transit's existence could of erased that, the movie would of been much stronger.
Hey this is not related to rotb but can you make a theory why rampage was called devastator in the subtitles
If unicron revived transit he will turns into terrorcon and i saw sov box making detailed transit figure
Transit's design looks like it was pulled out from Bionicle.
Who is wrecker faction in cybertronian allied with autobots?
also the guardian and mercenaries?
Can you do a video on what would happen if skids and mudflap survived?
