I have been following this project a while now. I am happy for my Ethiopian brethren this will boost their transition into one of Africa's industrial giants. I hope some compromise can be reach with those down stream to mitigate the dams impact on their lives.
Let's hope there will be a crazy weather event whereby it rains like mad up stream and fills up the dam in just a few years; without causing too much problem to Egypt and Sudan.

Hydropower plant have zero impact but have many benefits to Sudan and Egypt. No one drop of water taken out from GERD all the water flow to Egypt
You might want to spend some more time learning about the the white and blue Nile rivers and how they actually flow.

🇪🇹🇪🇹🇪🇹🇪🇹❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️👏👏❤️❤️
There's other ways to generate electricity other than holding fresh water
With gigantic dams .
🤣. egypt
Yeah ethiopia will build nuclear plant next time ,I hope egypt will not complain 🤣🤣😂
@@voice744 oh yeah I forgot about that
They all need lots of water to operate safely... hydro is cheap and lasts for a long time.
@@voice744 their dam is at our expense not their reactor.
Tho I don't think ethiopia can afford 30 billion when they barely afford 8 billion on dam
