I’ve always used one of these in the back of my SUV.
Make SURE you have good weather tech floor mats because these things can leak, especially if you forget to change them! Change them out every month during high rain/humidity seasons.
The liquid from these things is caustic. Don’t touch it with bare hands & it’ll literally EAT leather!!!!

I use DampRid in my car, and the reasons have nothing to do with damage to vehicle glass, seals or the doors. Maintenance is a must when it’s so hot walking outside is like walking into a sauna. That intense heat and high humidity.gets in your car just from opening doors or windows. Life’s a beach is more of a bitch when it comes to vehicles here. The Salty off shore mist will do a lot of damage and requires maintenance. It’s the same for driving inland, your car’s been baking in the extremely hot sun, then in the afternoon it’s common to get severe storms. Personally it’s part of life where I live and DampRid is a must have, part of the summer routine to avoid a musty stinky interior. We know to keep the door seals, guards, and doors clean and dry. When I get home after a storm I open the doors let the water run out, and dry the seal and door guards before parking in the garage. That’s when I hang the DampRid for the night and it works great.
Just noticed user name, lol good ole Harley Davidson and the Marlboro man. 😂

Not really sure to be honest, but we bought it there. You may want to ask someone at their store.

...it only gets rid of the damp order, like moldy or stale water orders? To get rid of really bad smells, like from diapers, old moldy foods, or vomit, or from something that smells like Butyric acid, or rancid butter, you might need to try Coffee grounds from a can of Folgers or Maxwell House Coffee, or some cheap brand of coffee. 🤔
Police have been know to use coffee grounds in vehicles, whenever a dead body has decomposed inside of them, before they are auctioned off, to get rid of the dead odor funk 😲
