Just want to say that I was always flinching and after watching your video i decided to flick the monsters and can confirm you are 100% right about it being much better!
After 2 weeks of attempts and three zuks, i'm finally the proud owner of an infernal cape. Thank you for making these guides, they were my holy bible throughout the grind.
23:54 I remember Deviate said this in one of his videos, but it never made sense to me until almost 40 attempts. Once I started immediately running to the side of the pillar I need to be on (and changing prayer to range or melee if needed), I started getting consistently deep runs. I would get to wave 62 and then not get close for 10 attempts etc., it was random. But then I started doing that and it clicked and started getting to the 60's+ every time. I don't have my cape yet, but I just got to Zuk the first time yesterday. It takes practice to learn that, and you have to get comfortable with the waves and see a lot of spawns before a lightbulb goes off and you realize "oh, there's only a ranger on that side! Why am I worrying? I can just go there!". This is really important with the melee too. Once you learn to act fast and kill stuff quickly, you'll take way less damage and the melee digging won't be an issue, even if you're flicking between multiple enemies.
I've been putting off inferno for so long but you explained so much so well and it's kind of dispelled the "this is unobtainable" illusion. Of course you have a ton of experience but watching you do the inferno has made me realise it's really all about planning and quick decisions, which come from experience. I obviously won't one shot him but I have a lot of time over the Christmas holidays; maybe I'll just get it 🙂 awesome stream!
Just watched this video. This has given me the confidence to start attempting. So great, your chill attitude towards solves I had always thought impossible. Wish me luck!
Something to watch out for on the zuk fight that got me killed. In this video he goes straight from Jad to healers, but with being a learner (and tbow noodles) I wasn’t going fast enough so I got to healers and the second set spawned. Make sure somebody is timing you so you know if you’re good to go straight to healers
if you are saying that because of low stats, understandable, but if its simply because you find it complicated, it really isnt, its just a matter of timing the pray switches, corner traps, and a little bit of luck with spawns

im currently giving inferno a go on my iron. I've put this grind off wayyyy too long and i know i can do it. Thanks for giving such clear explanations. I died on my first attempt on wave 56 chasing a nibbler, using all my brews trying to save south pillar and then misflicking 1t flicks while attacked by 2 blobs. I also didnt start my waves 50+ with justi plate on (why did i even bring it for .-.) Your tips to barrage only once after waves 50+ until a good opportunity to finish nibs off presents itself is a GOLDEN tip.
I don`t usually go for the yt-algorithm.. but liking and commenting this is the least I can do. So much information brought across in such an easily understandable way. Thank you! :)
i just got my 1st ever cape, whenever i had nibs on my (not north) pillars i asked myself: "what do i do with those, how do i kill those?". whenever i did that your voice in my head just said "i dont care, unlucky". that helped a lot ngl
31:50, New capers should avoid running south IMO. Ive seen a lot of runs where the wave is easily solved on N pillar but because the person has it in their mind that south pillar is an option, they don't see the simple solve without running. I didnt run south once on any of the 5 Zuk attempts (60+ overall, but I was running south early on in my first attempts.) that in took for my first cape. The attempts were all pretty much B2b because by the time I made it to Zuk once, I could consistently get back there because of how comfortable I was on N pillar. If you stay north it may take more attempts to get your cape, but less time overall if that makes sense. Edit: Also the terrible spawn he got on wave 62, could possible be solved by a quick ice barrage on the melee, while 1 ticking blob/range. Provided you dont splash the barrage. I froze melee's on multiple waves trying to get my first cape. Its a great tool to stick in your pocket. Also, the quicker you get comfortable off-ticking melee, the quicker you get cape. :)
You should make a video recommending a progression order for PvM bosses. I'm not quite to the level of bossing yet but when I get there it would be cool to know a good order to take them in to practice mechanics and whatnot that would be more and more increasingly important for harder bosses. I know ToB requires almost absolute mastery of all things in the game such as movement and tick timing so surely there's an optimal order to learn bosses on the way to that mastery.
do sepulchre for movement, zulrah is good for swaps, and that will get u pretty far if u rly try to optimize hose two honestly. you can practice prayer flicks on any boss by just kinda goin for it, try 1 ticking and lazy flicking, you can 1 tick swap on most enemies for practice still.

Haha casual 1 set zuk and the healers got mauled too
Got 3 sets on my cape with fbow :)
i recently got bofa bc im not rich and im considering going for inferno. would you recommend first capes with bowfa?
He said in this video that bofa is same as tbow on pretty much everything besides zuk and triple jada
Jads
Very nice, now let's see this done on mobile
how big is the difference between amethyst and dragon darts? d darts are hella expensive
if you are barely starting just use amethyst, theyre not that bad tbh
What's your take on spec weapons like SGS and Eldritch as well as Justiciar?
i take eldritch and justiciar, ive made it to 3 jads with them. eldritch allows me to bring a little more brews, and justi will help me camp mage pray while finding a different pillar in a difficult wave
@@NikeSoccerTennis yea but that's just rng and you arnt particularly learning how to beat the inferno properly so feels like wasted time. But if you're just trying to get one Cape like most people who cares gl gl
@@why.should_i honestly, at least Im not buying the fkin cape like everyone else, justiciar is good for shitty spawns, fk jagex
