Biggest takeaway from this preseason tour is we should stop polishing turds! Get rid of the deadwood. Stop expecting miracles from players who we already know are shite!
United is simply Fan Favourites FC,that's the problem, until we sort that United will not progress,I can't see any top team justifying retaining Mctominey, Evans and Maguire.

Love how some of yall are trying to look for positives and excuses with "missing the first squad players" story... Liverpool only had Konate in the defence from the main squad and we didn't score a SINGLE goal. Rashford, Sancho, Amad, Mount even Antony should've scored against Liverpool U21 defence... naah man. Ruud needs to work hard with these lot, finishing drills every single training from now on.

It's all about mindset, its to provide motivation and encouragement so it varies depending on when the game is played. Of Course at the beginning of pre season you say, no friendlies. To make sure everyone takes it seriously and tries to play their best. Then once the tour is done, you can say it's friendlies so that the players don't get discouraged by poor performances. It's all about mentality and timing.
Imagine going to a Liverpool fan channel on a friendly. I couldn’t think of doing a thing that’s so pathetic.

it's really mad we still haven't improved the midfield yet. Especially as Casemiro stuggled last season and he's now a year older so not really going to improve on his fitness. Top 6 will be a struggle.
It's a pre season friendly ffs !!!! Those that started the game only Onana and Rashford are starters, Casemiro and Mount are maybes. Last season United had 3 of the back 4 missing for over 20 games. Any team struggles with 3 of the back 4 missing 20 games.

I don’t agree at all the biggest problem in the team is not midfield it is the defense and get the starters to be fit… The defense should be Shaw-Lisandro Martinez- Yoro-Dalot 2 of them are not available next week… then not scoring your chances are a worry… get De Ligt IN and Lindelof OUT for example and get Ugarte IN and Casemiro OUT, at the start of the season the midfield should be Bruno-Mainoo-Casemiro or Ugarte Mount-McTominay-Eriksen as backup
We were wasteful in front of goal but we need to to keep the goals out because 3-0 flattered Liverpool

With each transfer window the gap widens. I’m dreading this season already and I don’t see ETH getting till October at this rate. What is scary is that Liverpool look so well organised given Slot is only there but we are giving ETH his 3rd season to try and put a squad together🙈

You really didn’t read what I posted. ETH has had 2 full seasons and 5 transfer windows and close to £500m spent so far, you’re making excuses now. Yes Slot took over from Klopp I’m well aware of that, but it wasn’t Klopps best Liverpool side by any means, it needed work. Slot has them ticking already and they play a good style no matter the personnel. I’m not blaming it all on ETH it’s clear he doesn’t want Maguire, Mctominay, AWB, Lindeloff, Sancho at the club but they’re in big wages so they’re going nowhere. But where I do blame ETH is prioritised Mount, Anthony and Onana, over everything else yet the players he wants rid of don’t play in those positions. Make it make sense.
