I also agree, I have the LEGO 10680 bin lorry. It is a very good set in my opinion but it is quite simple to make. I do like how this set has a bit more challenge to it.

The Lego Ideas is for the Lego Designers to have new brand ideas for their future sets. You can see that the Ideas Police Station got 10K but never released and instead of it Lego published their own version of this Ideas Police Station - with a donut shop next to it. Coincidence?! I think not :)
@@Bricks-On This is one of reasons I don't like LEGO IDEAS. Once you hit 10K votes, you lose the rights to LEGO. A creators work could be strung along for a year or more. Instead the creator could just custom sell their set to the public and make money instead of waiting forever to get name recognition. To me, LEGO IDEAS is a trap for creators to give up their creation and LEGO gets most of the credit. Most times they make changes how they see fit, that undermines the creators great work.
@@dmonsef That is correct. The old rules of Lego Ideas stipulated that once you submit the idea you transfer the right to Lego. The new rules are almost the same - Lego can use your model as they see fit without compensation. So I do not bother with Lego Ideas anymore :)
For sure this vid is great! I made my self a test build before the set was released and it seems that I almost got all the construction correct :) Thanks for the vid!
Simple modifications are, lengthen the vehicle by 5 studs add another regular axle,add two lift/center suspension axles and shorten the fuel tanks to about half. Roll off truck,garbage truck recycling truck,many possibilities !
This shows that even though you recycle it all goes in the same truck! The most believable city set to date!

I like this recycling truck since it's not on the "kiddish" side, unlike some 2022 sets which are really simplified.
