19:01 if you wanna hear and see some enthusiastic and curious musicians. my heart is full, i was there when frankenfoote got played before hiatus at Albany NYE. and i was there when they brought it back in CO. two years in love with this band and ive already traveled to Colorado twice for them.
some day people will quit comparing bands and realize its not a competition and enjoy the music for what it is. if you don't like it don't listen to it and go about your "phishy" ways. theres a lot of good music out there these days you just have to open your ears to it. im starting to figure this out in my older age after being stuck on only certain bands for years.
Remember me I Met You in Unity Maine at the college.. with my good friend Nikki. But I think that was like a decade ago and I'm so happy you guys are still jamming out . I haven't seen you guys life since great North here in Maine couple years ago but for real you guys music soothes my soul..love you guys
so why not hate on spafford or pigeons or any other band that has been phish has been an obvious influence on? just like the dead was an obvious influence on phjish?
I've never heard of Spafford or Pigeons before so I can't make any comment on them. There's a difference between having an influence on a band (like the Grateful Dead did have on Phish) and straight up trying to sound exactly like another band.
lol...youre not wrong about the dude. He's on record basically saying Trey was god to him, so he moved to Vermont (from Jersey) to start a band, exactly like trey did. Well, trey went to school there anyway.... That being said, they are different enough to not be labeled Phish wannabes IMO. The main difference is the musicianship between the two. Although Twiddle members are very good musicians, they've really got nothing on PHISH. But lets be real, Twiddle has done a great job cultivating their sound and gathering a pretty rabid following. One doesn't get to play at Red Rock Amphitheater on a Friday in the summer by being a poor mans anything.
In my opinion and experience, the “jam band” scene isn’t exactly great at pinpointing talent. They’re just looking for the next show to follow to have fun. Nothing wrong with that. I’ve been a huge Phish fan for most of my life and I agree with you about this band coming nowhere close to Phish, talent-wise. It may not be fair to this band, but I compared them to Phish and obviously came up very disappointed.
One of the Top Highlights of my life. For real, I barely made it and it was the BEST FEELING!
3 minutes in and i already have chills. This show was incredible live. Thanks for sharing this. :)

The dude's guitar even looks like Trey's.....I mean, come on.
