I just want to take the time as a pediatric vision and cognitive development specialist how much I LOVE Ledger's room! It has contrast that he needed as an infant while still being trendy. The pastel neutral monochromatic trend for baby rooms and nurseries always concerned me. And Ledger is so cute with short hair! Just definitely need a talk about safety with him lol. But it will grow quickly! Much love 💕💕💕

Really that only applies when the child is very very young and can only identify strong contrasting patterns. He is a toddler now 🤔

I believe this was his room from the beginning of his life. 🤍🦓 I'm not judging anyone's personal style or taste, and I think those rooms are beautiful. I'm just commenting on what I've seen for nursery trends the last few years compared to the sensory needs of an infant. 💕
I love seeing Luke working on his sisters hair. It shows first off the bond that he has with the sisters and secondly his interest in other skills besides just the typical boy skills.😊. And ledgers just going crazy with all this haircutting stuff.
Honestly, Luke is really cute. He likes to do his sisters hair and its really sweet.

the peace making methode is a great way to show kids and teenagers that it is important to always be kind even if the other person is mean to you. then you will have a piece of mind and get a reward to which they like.

Thank you for being honest. We have 9 kids and we fight the same issues. Sometimes I feel like I go around reminding our kids to do their jobs. And YES our kids argue...
Anyone over the age of ten needs to do their own laundry. Each one get a day and a time slot for their laundry. If you miss it you have to wait for an open spot...or next week. 5-9 must gather and bring their laundry..help hang, fold and put away. Even Ledger can help fold wash cloths and socks. We have a multi generational home and this is how we do ours...... It works.
That actually seems like a rlly good routine

Possible video idea: dog care routine. Would love to see how those cute puppies work into the family dynamic and if there are any kids that take special care of them more than others.
Have certain days for certain peoples laundry - wash their laundry all together so then you save time by not having to figure out whose laundry is whose - or do it where a room is a certain day - like Luke and Beckham is Monday and then they can fold an put away their laundry themselves - so so so much easier - especially when it comes to socks and such - game changer
My sister in law has each of the kids do there own laundry on certin days. Age 2&7 they have to gather it and bring it to her. Everyone else has certin days and times. This might help you not get so far behind. You have many who are able to do there own. Just a thought. You are an amazing Mom and have such a wonderful family

I have the same feelings on slime as you do! I not only don’t like the mess but the texture of it. I have allowed a small amount for my youngest to play with, her friend was kind enough to give her a little, and so far she’s done really good with it in keeping it at our table 😊.
We are a family of 5 and I still can’t get a handle on laundry 🤦♀️. Of course we only have 1 washer and dryer but I have tried to give each member of our family a specific day of the week that I will do their laundry and it may have worked for 1 week lol. I’d be open to suggestions on laundry as well. Love your family and I love watching your videos 💜.

Laundry tip- less clothes, several loads wash/dry/put away every day, no exceptions. Our family is about half the size, but laundry is a constant!
Lol it’s funny how the mom is just walking around the house and then you at least get two kids following her around 😂

I absolutely love seeing all the different things that she has for her kids in her house because like everything accommodates everybody like I got a workout room. She’s got a hang out room she’s got a theater room everything accommodates at least one person in the house.

Your house is so cute!!! I would suggest for the laundry that if you have like 14 people living in your house right now then do 2 peoples laundry each day, and have that become those 2 peoples designated laundry day. Then add in each bathroom or bedding and make a designated day for each persons thing. For example Monday’s could be Lilly and Navy’s laundry day, and the little girls bathroom laundry day. I hope that helps you guys out! That’s kinda what my family does for the laundry. Love you all so much!!

I think constructive and open, peaceful communication skills will go a lot further than a reward system. Nonviolent Communication and Siblings without Rivalry are good books. They need to be able to express what they are feeling in a respectful way. External rewards won’t address this. 😄

You can put a few baskets one for each colour waching and it is so useful!!!
So throw laundry in before bed, put in dryer 1st thing in the morning. Then once the kidos are gone to school ready to fold and next load goes in. Plus hot water is less expensive at night so save the whites for night time.

2 loads a day! One for clothes the other for rags and towels, maybe 3 for you one heavier clothes like jeans and pants and a load for everything else & then towels and rags... everyone folds all 3 loads together during before bed chores and they each have an outfit or two each day... they then put away their own! That's what I usually do for my family of 7!

You could have two people a day doing laundry, so everyone gets to do it once a week. I know once a week isn’t a lot for each child, but that way they have all day to run as many loads as they needed and possibly put there towels or blankets or sheets in as well. So say the two youngest on Monday’s, the next two kids on Tuesday, etc
Give everyone a basket for the laundry room. Have certain kids clothes be on certain days (the older kids like 13 and up can do their own) and it needs to be done first thing once they’re home from school or up for the day. They have to wash dry and put it away on that day.

Mine can get quite messy if I have other things to catch up on at the same time. We somehow manage to keep our washing down most days too, not very often it gets left too long
