    I've been wanting to try making my own, the frozen ones at the store are all breading, and very expensive for almost no shrimp in them. Great job making this video, I was glad that you butterflied two shrimp, instead of just moving on to the next step. Saved a lot of people from rewinding, you put on a great presentation!

    They look great. After spraying my air fryer with oil, I place parchment paper with holes in it on the bottom of the fryer. Nothing ever sticks. It may increase the cooking time slightly, but I think it's worth it. Also, it makes clean-up a breeze.

    I have only just recently discovered your UA-cam channel, and I'm loving it! You are very good at instructing with such a kind, gentle spirit. I'm learning a lot of great tips from you, even though I've been cooking for about 50 years! LOL! Plus, I love Pampered Chef and bought their air fryer a couple of months ago. However, I hadn't even unpacked it because I was so intimidated by it. But your videos have given me courage. Thank you for that! :D

    Wish they had technology that I could reach through the screen & snatch a couple cuz they look so good! I really want the foodi pressure cooker, but my daughter in law just got the foodi grill & air fryer for Christmas. We share a house so that will be fun to use. Do you find much of a difference in temps or time air frying in the pressure cooler vs the grill?

    Great video - I'm going to try making these with my 5 year old - seems like a recipe that she could help with. One question: could you use uncooked (unbreaded) shrimp straight out of the freezer without defrosting first? And if so, what modifications would you suggest? I'm thinking that I always have shrimp in the freezer so this could be a quick dinner on nights when I haven't planned ahead. Thanks so much as always for all your wonderful videos and happy holidays!

    -- They stuck because you're filming, of course! Good tip about moisture getting to the bread crumbs, tho.
    -- Never considered making shrimp stock, that's a recipe to look forward to.
    -- When I have leftover egg and breading, I mix it together and fry it like a pancake.
    -- _Fresh_ paprika (like you get if you buy the bulk bottle at Costco) actually has a peppery flavor, so yes, you do need to cut it back. When it gets old, it loses that and becomes just coloring.

    I am experimenting at the moment with some ideas I have that really need a deep fat fryer such as popeyes chicken copycat I have results I like but using a deep fat fryer I cant replicate in in an air fryer setting. But my theory is I can mass make a load of it but only partially cook it let it cool then freeze it. Then I am thinking I can then take a portion out of the freezer and cook it in the air fryer will this be safe and possible without drying it out.

    This looks great. One thing, and I'm not a biologist, but I don't think that's a "vein", I think that is part of the digestive system, an intestine going to the, well you know, and the dark stuff inside, is well you know. So, I would definitely remove that before I eat it.

    • @TheSaltedPepper
      @TheSaltedPepper  Місяць тому

      You are correct, even though it is referred to as the back vein. However, it won't hurt you to leave it in.

    She said it was spicy when she ate one. Spicy from what? She used no type of pepper at all. Not even black pepper. Salt, garlic powder, onion powder and paprika is all that was used😅. She would be on 🔥 if she ate some of my food..i guess her cocktail sauce was hot. I make mine extra hot

    • @TheSaltedPepper

      It was the cocktail sauce. LOL I like spicy, but it was definitely extra hot.

      You’ve heard of Himalayan salt. No sea there. Lots of salt is mined from the earth. It was a game changer when people found out.🚽
