I mean, it would be cool to have a track day or something like that at this event, but unless you're willing to front the cash required to lock down a venue like that, you shouldn't talk. This is a free event, an opportunity for people to see other people's builds and hang out.
@@MiguelDsm nah that’s every other week my boi we go up the coast camp in the national parks drive for fun to other states but for once a yr events these two companies are weak now..
@@turbo_brianwe used to do that with subiefest we were in willow springs, Fontana, Pomona and almost had a button willow event but then started going downhill.I don’t know if Mitsubishi ever did anything close that but two companies are going down. I mean mitSUBIshi is almost dead..
@@flat_life750I don't think you understand the nature of this event. Mitsubishi wasn't involved in this event at all. Most car manufacturers are completely separate legal entities from their dealerships. The dealers are run on a franchise model with an individual person or investment company owning each dealer. In this specific case a group of mitsubishi owners went up to a specific mitsubishi dealer and asked the owner if they could use their facility to hang out for a bit, and that owner said yes. So when you go around talking trash on this event, you're insulting the small group of individuals who put in their own time and effort with zero pay to put on this event. Rather than being ungrateful for the fact that they didn't front more money for a bigger event, you should be thankful for the fact that they did anything at all. Manufacturers have marketing budgets and can justify things like subiefest. Miguel and the guys running socal evo don't have a marketing budget and they don't make more money if mitsubishi sells more cars. Puente hills mitsubishi didn't have any cars out with for sale signs, and I doubt they made a signal car sale this day.
I drove 15 hours to come to this and it was absolutely worth it and I’ll be trying to come down every year
