10,000 miles in a year at 28 miles per day average is ridiculous. I ride my bike 5-6 days per week to commute and I only do about 50-100 miles per week depending on the week.

Fun video. With the Dual Star, you should definitely be able to do 70 miles on 95%. That is unless you're on PAS 3 or 4 to keep up with Mr. Armstrong. 😅

I don't think I could have done the whole ride that day. I've done a range test around the lake, but not the long way through Ojai. The range test I did killed the battery right at the end of my ride, just over 60 miles. There's a lot of climbing going through Ojai and around Lake Casitas. And I was on PAS 5 for the 1st 10 miles trying to meet up with him. I may try it one day, but like you said, it'll have to be on PAS 2 or maybe 3 at most, with a full charge.

We're supposed to be limited to 28mph, but it's not heavily enforced in my area. It does depend on where you are of course, flying through a crowded path might not be a good idea, but out on the road no one really cares how fast your going as long as you're riding safely.

I hate to say.. "Lance Armstrong " Spandex costume. I wear jeans and a T-Shirt and feel very comfortable on my $1,600 bike for 50 miles 😂

I can pedal a bike 20 miles in jeans and not have any problems at all. No need for special costumes.
