loving this series, even as an experienced memory/mini book maker. thank you for doing this. I think a craft along at the end of the series would be the perfect cap!!
Hi there Jessica, so glad to hear you're enjoying it even as someone who already makes books! Hopefully we've still given you some tips or inspiration 😊 I'm not sure when the craftalong will be exactly as it needs a little preparation, but it's looking like it'll be very popular when it happens!
Thank you so much for the memory book tutorials. I have purchased several dies but haven't had the confidence to give them a go. With your clear instructions I'm ready to try.
Welcome Deborah! I'm so happy to hear that you're going to give memory books a go, if you're happy to share what you create with us, we'd love to see! Happy crafting 😊
Love these memory books! Terrific tutorials in this series! Keep ‘me coming! One thought: caution using craft knife on glass mat as you can etch the glass. Cutting mat works well. TYFS! ❤️🦋💜
love love love this series! And, it's nice to see others that put the trimmer on top of their work. I do that, LOL! Great series, I have this particular set and am super inspired now! thank you!
I'm definitely not a "neat" crafter at all Lori! My useable desk space shrinks and shrinks as products get pushed around the edge as I use them, and then yes, the trimmer just ends up over the top of everything! 😂
I too have all your memory book dies, but still haven’t taken the plunge! Love your tutorials and i would definitely follow along with a craft along! My biggest project to date was 28 eggs for Easter! ❤️ they were a big hit with family and friends
Wow 28 eggs is an amazing feat, I'm sure they went down very well! Grab your memory book dies out and give a book a go, I'm sure once you dive in the ideas will start flowing, and there's lots of inspiration on our channel for the various memory book die sets we've made to help!
I love these tutorials for memory books! 🥰🥰 I have this set at home and have not started to make a memory book until now! This week I will begin my memory book! 😊👍 Thank you so much for sharing, I hope there will be a few more tutorials! Best regards from Austria, Ulrike
So glad you're enjoying the videos Ulrike, and I'm really happy to hear you're starting your memory book! Can't wait to see what you make, we have two more videos planned for this series showing page layouts, but I imagine this is a topic we will revisit again in the future too 😁
Thankyou for this series. I am new to memory books and I want to make a wedding one for my son who has just got married and this is helping me so much. I have bought your memories to cherish set and would love it if you could show it during this series. I would love a craft along too.
Hi there Marina, I'm sure your son will love the book you're making for him! I don't think we're specifically using Memories to Cherish, but, all of the construction and page layouts can be applied to any of our books, that's the beauty of them! We'll note it down for the craftalong though 😊
I so love and appreciate this series! Anything you do with memory books would be wonderful, I’m in!! I don’t think I would ever have tried the window, but you made it so doable. Thank you so much❤
I'm so happy to hear that Nannee! The window looks much harder than it is, just requires a bit of forward planning! (Although, you can also make a window and stick it onto a page if you don't plan ahead!)
I have purchased almost all of your memory books and have yet to make one. I have used some of the dies for card making but not memory books. I am loving this series and I look forward to finally making one. I will definitely start with a photo album first. A craft along would be most helpful.
Get those dies out and start playing Robin! Even if you make a junk journal using pages from all the sets you have to give them a try out! We'll add your craftalong vote to the list!
Hi there Patricia, you're so welcome and I'm glad the tutorial is helping you to get started! Can't wait to see what you create if you're happy to share with us! Happy crafting!
Love this set of dies! I am a huge fan of the mini album dies from Tonic Studios and have lost track of how many I've made! Thank you for another awesome video!
I think we all have that issue when making books sometimes Lainie, I know I certainly do! The next video will show a few different page layouts that'll hopefully help give you some more ideas too!
Thank you for this series. I purchased some dies but I was awaiting some wonderful inspiration and you ladies have now provided that. Awesome series !!
Thank you for taking the time to plan and create such an easy to follow memory book tutorial series! I love making memory books and so far your series has helped me understand how to prevent some of the difficulties I've run into. Your dies are wonderful! Please do a craft along as well!
Hi there Audrey! I'm so happy to hear we've been able to help in your memory book making! We've really enjoyed diving into memory books ourselves to put this all together and I think we've reignited sparks for ourselves to get making more books too!
I bought the beautiful hexagonal memory book dies with spine about a year ago but I'm scared to start. Do you plan what you will put in it first I would love to make the big hexagon book where the pages overlap but how much card how much decorative paper do you plan for, and should I start with an easier one to begin with. The big one is impressive though. A bit of guidance would help me take the plunge.
It would really depend on how many pages you intended to add, and what size book you were making! For the largest size book, you can only fit one page per sheet of A4, so if you are doing 2 layers per page and for your cover, each would be 2x A4 sheets. All of the scraps can of course be used for decorations, panels, pockets etc. Hope this helps!
Wonderful tutorial, thankyou for the 2nd in this series. Avidly await the next one.
So glad you're enjoying it Lesley! The next one is all about page layouts 😊

Yes yes yes
Morning Bob, your craftalong vote has been counted, see you there!
What kind of paper is suggested for the books?
How many sheets of A4 card do you need to make a hexagon book with a spine and pages ?
It would really depend on how many pages you intended to add, and what size book you were making! For the largest size book, you can only fit one page per sheet of A4, so if you are doing 2 layers per page and for your cover, each would be 2x A4 sheets. This shows a box for the book. I can find no istruction to show me which dies I use from my set.
