    loving this series, even as an experienced memory/mini book maker. thank you for doing this. I think a craft along at the end of the series would be the perfect cap!!

      Hi there Jessica, so glad to hear you're enjoying it even as someone who already makes books! Hopefully we've still given you some tips or inspiration 😊 I'm not sure when the craftalong will be exactly as it needs a little preparation, but it's looking like it'll be very popular when it happens!

    Love these memory books! Terrific tutorials in this series! Keep ‘me coming! One thought: caution using craft knife on glass mat as you can etch the glass. Cutting mat works well. TYFS! ❤️🦋💜

    love love love this series! And, it's nice to see others that put the trimmer on top of their work. I do that, LOL! Great series, I have this particular set and am super inspired now! thank you!

      @craftyleotonic Рік тому

      I'm definitely not a "neat" crafter at all Lori! My useable desk space shrinks and shrinks as products get pushed around the edge as I use them, and then yes, the trimmer just ends up over the top of everything! 😂

    I too have all your memory book dies, but still haven’t taken the plunge! Love your tutorials and i would definitely follow along with a craft along! My biggest project to date was 28 eggs for Easter! ❤️ they were a big hit with family and friends

    • @craftyleotonic
      @craftyleotonic Рік тому +1

      Wow 28 eggs is an amazing feat, I'm sure they went down very well! Grab your memory book dies out and give a book a go, I'm sure once you dive in the ideas will start flowing, and there's lots of inspiration on our channel for the various memory book die sets we've made to help!

      Hi there Marina, I'm sure your son will love the book you're making for him! I don't think we're specifically using Memories to Cherish, but, all of the construction and page layouts can be applied to any of our books, that's the beauty of them! We'll note it down for the craftalong though 😊

    I have purchased almost all of your memory books and have yet to make one. I have used some of the dies for card making but not memory books. I am loving this series and I look forward to finally making one. I will definitely start with a photo album first. A craft along would be most helpful.

    I bought the beautiful hexagonal memory book dies with spine about a year ago but I'm scared to start. Do you plan what you will put in it first I would love to make the big hexagon book where the pages overlap but how much card how much decorative paper do you plan for, and should I start with an easier one to begin with. The big one is impressive though. A bit of guidance would help me take the plunge.

  • @jillyhoward4920

    How many sheets of A4 card do you need to make a hexagon book with a spine and pages ?

    • @craftyleotonic
      @craftyleotonic Рік тому +1

      It would really depend on how many pages you intended to add, and what size book you were making! For the largest size book, you can only fit one page per sheet of A4, so if you are doing 2 layers per page and for your cover, each would be 2x A4 sheets. All of the scraps can of course be used for decorations, panels, pockets etc. Hope this helps!
