I love hearing the contemporary version, it gives personality to God’s word and it has also made me more so excited to read my word with more emotions, using bass when I see exclamation points and question marks. Holy Spirit did open my mind to understand and fall in love with St. Paul’s letters. In the past, I did not have the interest in reading or listening to his letters because I found they were not easy to understand. But now I suddenly do. It’s the Holy Spirit working on me.
