  • I knew we'd see some quality scrap metal from that worksite! Didn't take too long and we were called back to haul away a significant pile from that new development, and it sure was a good one! Didn't take all day so we headed out to do some dumpster diving right after, managed to come home with a decent pile of goodies.
    Wire stripper I use: amzn.to/3jrO2iS
    The motorized stripper: amzn.to/3y0JMuQ
    The wire cutters I like: amzn.to/2T6j3OW
    This is the cheaper version: amzn.to/2SwrYsB
    And here are those grips I recommend: amzn.to/2QCJmYl
    (If you make a purchase on amazon through the links above, a small amount of what amazon makes on the sale is shared with me. It's a great way to help support my channel, at no additional cost to you. Even if you buy something other than my tool recommendations!)

    All that rebar could have been easily reused in my line of work. Smaller pieces are heavily used in reinforcing pilaster footings, and then the leftover, shorter pieces for grade stakes. Wish I had a hookup through was just tossing their scrap construction material.

    • @thubprint
      @thubprint  2 роки тому +1

      I was thinking the same, seems like a lot of those pieces would’ve been valuable to somebody. I didn’t want to have to store it until they called though

    I've eaten yogurt over a month out of code if it was in the back of my fridge. No problem. As long it's sealed and kept cold it's fine. Expired meat would give me pause too, but what looked like cottage cheese would have come home. It makes a good ricotta substitute in a pinch. And all that copper... free money in the trash! Gotta love it!

      Free breakfast for a week sounds great to me! Yoghurt is easy mode for sure, if it’s not moldy it’s fine. Even sour is just a preference thing, it won’t hurt you. I probably would’ve considered the chicken if it was colder out! Those tubs were just low fat sour cream, which certainly would’ve been fine but I wasn’t sure what I would want it for
