I have lived in Hopewell my entire life. You probably know either my dad and/or some of my uncles. My dad is Ricky Zevgolis. My uncle Paul actually lives in Myrtle Beach himself.

I passed those places everytime we go to DC.

You highlighted a good portion of my commute to and from work. Love it. Also love that the eye sore at 2:51 on the left is no longer there. It had been sitting abandoned for years and nobody wanted to do anything about it.

Damn...that interchange at Chippenham is almost as bad as spaghetti junction in Atlanta. I remember when they proposed building that toll road...shows how long it's been since I lived there...lol. Then the Phillips Tobacco building made to look like cigarettes (that didn't age well...still looks like a monstrosity). I used to live right across the street from the old Main St Train Station as you cross the James River Bridge. It was a fun place to live...35 years ago
This Stretch Of I-95 Reminds Me Of I-95 In Johnston County Near Smithfield.And I-85 At Hillsborough Or Burlington
At least this stretch of 95 is worth checking out, unlike the one in North Carolina.

the only problem with 95 in Virginia is the interchange with Route 123 at the Occoquan river. That was a very poorly designed interchange combined with a river crossing. If not for that, 95 flows smoothly both ways.

Why is this I95 not a 4 lane being trucks travel on it & plenty of space for it
Might have cost more than they were willing to spend to expand it. They did build I-295 as a bypass but it's kind of far out.

Be aware that you might have to stop for no reason at all in and around Richmond. Especially the 95/ 64 interchange. Stupid is as stupid does.
