    Sitting here at 43 years old listening to two worship leaders that encouraged my walk and intimacy with Jesus throughout my young adult years. Darls always encouraged by your heart for people and love of Jesus above anything else. You both walk the talk when It comes to living out a life of honouring God and others. Thanks for being so open and vulnerable in your stories and trip down memory lane- the humanity side to your sharing helps keep us all transparent. Thank you. Much Love.

    My most admired humble worship leaders of all time in one podcast! Martin, "Historymaker" led me to understand my calling and purpose in life in a celestial way like no other! Led to sing it in a youth mtg 22yrs ago! "Obsession" just floors me with earnest longing for more of the Lord. "It is You" by Darlene remains as my love song to Jesus! I was captivated by Him since then. Thank you, you two for your authenticity. ❤

    For me Martin Smith, Keith Green and Darlene greatest unique voices in worship. I have seen all 3 perform live. Martin (Delirious and solo) in So. California, Keith Green before he died in plane crash and Darlene in Brazil.

    As much as I love both these people, Joyce Meyer is a health and wealth teacher. Ugggh. I’m trying to wrap my head around this.

    • @lizzyumoh
      @lizzyumoh 6 місяців тому +1

      Yes, its confusing. I also noticed that even though they were discussing the issue of how to manage being a Christian song writer in a godly way there was literally zero scripture referenced or any attempt to articulate a theology of why it's ok to make money from writing Christian songs, in particular getting money every time a song is sung in a church. I'm not saying its all definitely not ok as I haven't studied the topic out, but worryingly the content of their conversation indicates that they don't seem to have studied it out either.

      The same way you pay for Christian books because it costs time and money to have them published, there are laws and systems in place when it comes to writing, recording and publishing songs. It costs a lot of money, and the worker is entitled to wages! 1 Cor 9.

    • @roseroyaltyy

      Joyce Meyer has taught/written about a lot more than just health and wealth. I know people have been very impacted by her ministry and testimony - especially her preaching on forgiveness and healing from the past etc. Different ministers have different things to offer the body of Christ. Even if you don’t agree with everything someone preaches, they can still be a very genuine believer with an important message, and God can use them for His glory :)

      @@roseroyaltyy She might be a good motivational speaker. But if she is spreading a compromised gospel, that still is a problem.

      @@DanielSanchez-cq4gw i am 70 and was a christian for 67 years, i am not one now, no one is. I saw Zschech during my time and was swallowed up in the mind washing experience. Religion is a sham. I believe in the completed work of God and his christ. Jesus could take on others sickness because he was sinless not born of transgression. People got sick because of sinful flesh. When believers 2000 years ago believed in the blood of jesus they ALL recieved the holy ghost and got born again and became part of Gods holy temple on earth. While their faith subsisted . they too became sinless and could raise the dead heal the sick and do greater miracles. It was this power they all recieved that indetified them as christians and marked them out for tribulation and many for death. There has not been one person since 70AD that has had this power and there certainly is no one alive today out of the 2.5 billion who call themselves christians who has this power. These 2 characters here have become fabu;ously wealthy and influential by selling a lie and they should not be given any slack at all.
