Abrams’s treads have this rubber-like coating that is relatively light and is better for grip on roads. Russian and chinese tanks use metal treads that are better fit for off-roads
@@SlimeBD2015 the weight of the trackj has nothing to do with cross country performance.....the WIDTH of the track does because a wider track results in less ground pressure. If you take a 50 lb weight and trest it on one inch it exerts much more oressure then if you rested it on a 2x10. This is why winterketten amd track extensions are used in winter.
If humans have colonized other words, why is there an M1 Abrams on that Planet, with a fuel for the engine to burn, and ammunitions for the main gun to fire? Now i'm confused!
