You don't need a fairing; personally I protect my torso with a bergus hillwalking jacket and fleece, my legs with merino wool leggings and windproof trousers. Merino wool still keeps you warm when wet.
@@DemiGod..all wooll keeps you warm while wet. Merino is just softer instead of scratchy. And considering what you spent on all that, which will wear out before a fairing.......
Winter time here in Europe too, riding trikes on snow, mostly in evening, temperatures going down to -10 Celsius. Dress accordingly, warm clothes, gloves, have some insulation inserts in boots, because first touch with cold wind is on your legs and boots, sometimes stop to walk for minute or two, have water or tea on you, stay hydrated, wear eyes and mouth protection if necessary. Keep it up ✌
How about the WINTR fairing, bar mitts, anti-fog balaclava like the one from North45, snow helmet with goggles? So many great ways to stay comfy during cold rides!
I ride my Dumont on the roads in the winter. So far, my coldest ride is -5F. It would be more helpful if I changed out my rear tire with something more aggressive but I run the standard Schwabe Marathon.
LOVE UR CUSTOM BIKE❤ WHY DONT U GUYS MAKE SOMETHING EXTRA SPECIAL LIKE EBIKE WITH CAMPER ATTACHED BUT NOT TOWING LIKE TWO PIECES- ONE SINGLE FRAME ! EITHER U CAN MAKE IT RECUMBENT OR STRAIGHT BIKE PEDALLING AS REGULAR BIKE ! WITH LIGHT WEIGHT, AERODYNAMIC, FULL OF SPACE TO SLEEP, STORAGE ,LIGHT, FAN, COOKING SLIDE (IN&OUT), BIGGER BATTERY TO COVER LONG RANGE , SOLAR CHARGER AND AT LAST BUT NOT LEAST Awning🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Adding a WINTR FAIRING was a game changer for me in colder weather. Really does a good job keeping cold wind off the legs and torso.
