I am currently learning to trade with footprint-orderflow ect. I thought tick or range charts would be better to trade, but it seems to work well in combination with time.
This is nice! I guess we need a lot of experience to perform this live! Nowadays everything moves so fast that one needs to be well trained to capture what is really going on. Or my brain is just slow... I see the patterns, but well after they happen
For me the footprint has to be looked at last because I had bad experiences to fix my gaze too much on it. first of all I have to look at the context, historical vol profile day, chart renko, price action. are they responsive mode, or in trend mode? on the composit vol are in a hvl or lvn? what technical level do I have near? how are the volumes of the day being built? the price where it is going, and how is it doing it? Are otf present in the market? after all this I decide.
I is it possible to take a look in higher time frame like h1 to finde imbalances to definde possible entry zomes? Why did`t you take a real imbalance footprint?
Sir as market delta is no longer available so which other platform is best for footprints that's similar to that, where your given knowledge can be applied
Guys - the footprint is so accessable in today's trading that institutions can't work it how you explain it. The way you seem to instruct people to use it is almost for a 5-15 tick scalp. If it works, it works. However real buying and real selling as we know is hidden in the markets. The real sellers are not the guys hitting bids, they are the guys being hit - it's a market maker role to do so. You need to almost use this in reverse for larger time frame movements. For example the open drive you mentioned, all buy side action however it only went bid for 20 or so prices then when we see the absorption form, look where we go.
Yousuf Ali I agree. As I say, if whatever an individual is doing works then absolutely carry on. My comment was simply a thought process on the video. Perhaps something people using order flow to trade should consider.
Generally I dont comment on things. I only comment when correction is required. Axia Futures does not promote , benefit or have any gain, financial or non-financial with Market Delta. The reason we use their software is they were a pioneer with the tool. Every student that asks me which software they should use I will always offer a range of options based on their personal circumstances. I have used Market Delta for 5 years and im even happy to provide you with a invoice which i pay for monthly. That being said, I always ask for constructive feedback from all our viewers, that way we create useful dialogue. That way we can continue to provide all our followers with something that benefits them. Lets be constructive with our comments, lets stick to the facts rather that post our opinions. More importantly, lets focus on making money. If Footprint isnt useful for your timeframe, thats perfect. Im sure in one of our hundreds of free videos , you have learnt or will learn something. Goodluck
Brannigan Barrett agreed. I was pointing out just another angle at which the footprint chart can be used. Perhaps something you may like to consider. Sharing knowledge is key of course. In terms of MD. I used to use CQG, since the merge of the two companies,. I have moved to MD (which is essentially cqg now) purley because of cost. A massive difference for essentially the same thing. However I still use TT to execute.
Hi Az. You certainly can. You can use it with CME crypto futures. If it is not for the CME products though, it would be more difficult since the volumes are not centralised.
1. Initiative Drive -> Initial Balance Break (buy) 1:42
2. Open drive (buy) 39-45 4:15
3. key auction reversal (sell) 7:45

Hello Daniyal, you can check Sierra Charts, Investor RT or NinjaTrader.
Quantower also has footprint charts (they call it Cluster charts)

Can I take the footprint course and implement in crypto? Or anyone know where I can get the footprint course for crypto trading please
Hi Az. You certainly can. You can use it with CME crypto futures. If it is not for the CME products though, it would be more difficult since the volumes are not centralised.
I did the course is a good one but to be honest without direct support from expierienced trader you can forget any progress.
does career course includes footprint and volume profile strategies? or all all separetly?
info@axiafutures.com will answer this for you
