In summary the coumpo dance is a mask dance composed of the coumpo (straw) Agomala (black) Wissa (the bird) and Boss. It is a dance that is often done at night, but each year we organize an alamane (almond) which can take one or two days of festivities. This culture is very decades old.

Even I don't really know, I was born here but grew up in Dakar, the capital of Senegal, so I wasn't initiated. But reassure there is nothing magic even less witch, it's just a dance like any dance thank you I hope I did not make the most confused lol
