Will the vortex venom fit with out any needed parts right out of the box. On the psa dagger with the rmr cut slide.

No it will not. Several other optics will fit the RMR cuts but not the Venom. The Venom uses a Docter cut slide, they also offer bundles that can save some money buying the optic/slide combo so there is no question about fit. So long as you get the proper cut slide install of the optic is quick and painless. I use thread locker on the screws and recommend a piece of wax paper between the slide and optic to minimize the thread locker creeping under and locking it in place.

For a budget optic I use mine on the auto setting. Stays on for 14 hours and auto dims when concealed to save battery life. I've found I prefer the Holosun myself. Truthfully I have a hard time trusting my life to anything but iron sights at this point just because I am old school and know the battery will never die on my irons. I can say the Venom has been dead on reliable for me so far with no issues with loss of zero or failure to be on when I needed it. I simply turn it on in the morning and leave it on until the gun comes out of my holster when I go to bed.
