Loved the videos! Insane performance to do a 6b+ after such a short amount of time climbing. Well done!

Amazing video! I hope to climb Mirrorball this year as well!
Would love to see a video comparing technique now to technique back then or a Mirrorball 6/12 months on!

Love this series, can't believe it took six climbing videos to hear the word "beta" from Laurie

Nice video. Although I’m not sure you are being taught best practise to retrieve your gear. Ideally use locking carabiners when you are attaching yourself to the anchor not just 1 QuickDraw with snap gates. Again same for attaching the rope so you don’t drop it as this should be a back up to the anchor blowing. Also, you should check you are weighting the rope and your safety anchor is “floppy” before removing (maybe you was told off camera).
I dont usually comment like this but this is not how you should teach a new climber today…maybe 20 years ago.
    Keep up the vids❤

If the anchor bolts are too small to fit a bite of rope through then you would have to untie and retie so you can thread the rope.

@@ruhakana that’s not the issue. The issue is using 1 QuickDraw to secure yourself and then a QuickDraw to hold the rope. Either use 2 draws on your loop opposing gates or get a lanyard of some sort and use a locker.

      Ah thanks mate!
We did use 2 QuickDraws in the the anchor, maybe that’s not viable on camera. But appreciate the feedback 🙏

Very cool! Those drone aerial shots were amazing. And arrrgghh! Those blisters or whatever they were on your hands... do they heal fast? Cause to have the hands so damaged and then continue climbing, must be sooo horrible! Anyways congratulations on completing the challenge! ♥

Thanks so much!! Yeah they are frustrating haha, but we had to get it done and after a couple days rest they would often heal up just enough to climb on them again before ripping 😂 my hands just needed to get used to the volume of climbing I think.

@@LaurieShaw What? Man, that sounds terrible! I can do stuff with skin damaged, as lo ng as I don't look at it. The moment I see the skin ripped, I am like "Nooo, I can't, don't make me!!" lol So brave of you.
